Chapter26

#Chapter26

Existing Evidences

Memories of Alastor since he was young flashed before my eyes in seconds, from one scene to another, in jumping time with no consecutive order. From his yearly delta trainings, to his early childhood years, everything came to me in a flash.

And although it was undeniably overwhelming, it was comforting. As if I could finally touch Alastor in a way noone could. I could touch him where for everyone else was intangible.

He was mine.

/"Phoebe?/" Alastor called out, sounding alarmed as he pulled away from me, holding both my shoulders as if to support me, /"Phoebe, babe, talk to me./"

I blinked my eyes to slowly focus on Alastor in front of me, trying to push back some parts of his memories at the back of my mind before it consumed me. The feeling was like eating chocolates, how satisfying it feels with every bite.
