------------------------------

That was why Ned and Catelyn's faces changed after hearing Edward's words, for different reasons, of course. Catelyn did not know why The well-known and the most powerful man in Westeros, the Stormking, would care about someone as insignificant as Ned's bastard. She did not want Jon to have such connections in the future that might affect her son. She could not wait for him to disappear from her and her sons' lives. That was why Catelyn could not wait to get rid of him and send him to The Wall. She was ecstatic after hearing that he would go to The Wall by himself.

As for Ned, he remembered Edward's words from last time. Edward had told him that he would take Jon with him once he turned fifteen. Edward did not like how Catelyn treated Jon and had fought with Ned multiple times because of that. Edward told Ned that he would be breaking his promise to Lyanna by leaving Jon in Ned's care. Since Ned had the right to hold Jon in Winterfell during his childhood as Ned introduced him as his bastard, Ned kept refusing Edward's offers of taking Jon to Stormsland and taking care of him with Edward's sons. So Edward told him that he would come when Jon came out of age and take with him to his kingdom whether Ned agreed or not on something like that. That was one of the two reasons why Edward took five years this time to return to Winterfell, unlike the other visits.

Ned could not say anything this time as he saw with his own eyes how Jon's life became miserable day after day. He wondered if he agreed to Edward's suggestion back then and allowed Jon to go with him, would the situation have escalated to this degree?

Ned felt a little guilty the more he saw Jon in that state, but Ned only promised Lyanna to protect him and take him away from Robert's eyes. And that was what he did for the past fifteen years. No one doubted that Jon was Lyanna and Rhaegar's son.

Ned signaled Catelyn to move on and take care of the rest while he looked at Jon. Catelyn, who was still angry, could not say anything, especially after hearing Edward's order. Jon shifted his eyes between Ned and Edward and did not know what to say. Although Catelyn made things difficult for him, the little boy was still thankful to have his brothers and sisters. He did not know, as well, why someone on the top of the pyramid as Edward would care about a bastard like him. Edward would always greet him and treat him the same way he did to the other Starks, if not more. Jon always felt that Edward took special care of him. That was why Jon was so grateful and wished to get closer to Edward.

"Follow us, Jon." Said Ned to the confused Jon without saying anything more. Ned was always like that. He did not like to speak much nor express much.

"Do you want me to follow you, your grace?" Asked a female voice from behind the group when she saw that Edward would enter the crypt. Surprise filled everyone's eyes since they could not see her face earlier since she was wearing her helmet. But her voice was definitely a female's voice. That was why everyone's surprise was like that, especially after seeing what she was wearing.

The female knight wore the black and gold armor, representing the Kingsguard working under king Edward the first. They could not believe that. Even the Stark children stopped in their tracks after hearing her voice. The Starks and the Mormonts were the most familiar with situations like that where they had strong females, but it did not come close to this degree. Although everyone had heard about Lyanna Stark's tale and the Mormonts', Theirs did not get them close to this moment.

A female knight as a Kingsguard was unheard of in Westeros. Although Stormsland turned into a free space where females could enter the army, no one was noteworthy to get Edward's attention, not to mention promoting them to a knight. Yeah, that female was a knight since Edward made this rule himself. No one could become one of Edward's Kingsguards if he was not a knight.

During the last fifteen years, Only three females were worthy enough to get Edward's attention. The number of females that entered the armies was in hundreds, but no one was amazing enough to reach high. The first one of the three was Alesanna Stone. She was a bastard fathered by one of Edward's friends, Robin Hood, who acted as a playboy and fucked one of the Smallfolks who gave birth to Alesanna. Lucky for that bastard that his wife was tolerable enough and did not turn his life into hell. As for Alesanna, although she was a bastard, she had a good figure and was very good with the sword. She was one of Edward's trusted ones. That was the reason why Edward had sent her to the most significant task suitable for her. The girl was older than Edward's first son by four years. Edward only found out when Robin's wife had come to complain to him. Edward had built a good relationship with his friends and his families and did not behave like the typical king who would push everyone away and order them to treat him like he was the god. In fact, After Edward would finish his duties in the Storm Keep, he did not mind going to one of the towers to spend some time with his friends.

Back to Alesanna, Edward knew that he could not send a male knight to guard Daenerys, or he would risk it if that man fell in love with Daenerys like everyone else. Although he sent Alesanna to Daenerys, Edward was worried that Daenerys might change her preferences this time and make Alesanna fall for her. If something like that happened, It would be disastrous. Edward would be speechless if that happened. That was the reason why Edward only gave her one instruction which was to protect Daenerys. If nothing happened in the future and Alesanna did not fall for Daenerys, Edward would move up with his plans and order her to kill Daenerys after Edward got done with her.
