interrogation! And Ken makes his move!

Give me your powerstones!!!!!

===========================

Eleis's hand moved, and with unimaginable speed for the onlookers, her folding fan slashed toward Noah.

But just before her slash landed, Ken caught her hand softly as he appeared beside her.

The situation changed. Ken's hand tightened, and he bent her hand, making the folding fan's blade press against her neck, cutting in a little, making a drop of blood show itself and race down her neck, creating a very confrontational and hostile atmosphere.

Eleis kept smiling, but her hands were gripping the folding fan with all her might, trying to pull back from Ken's grip.

"Oh my, how aggressive~!" Eleis mused, staring at Ken's eyes with playfulness and a little hostility. "I would have loved to take it slow, but it seems like I went a little far with my actions~!" Eleis's other hand moved, going directly for Ken's heart.

But before that,

a bullet passed between them.

BANG!

A gunshot resounded. Eleis stopped and looked at the person who shot. It was Noah. "I don't know who you are, but if you try anything more, I will give out an order of execution."

Noah declared, his face dead serious. He put the gun away and looked at Ken, "There will be some questioning later on," he whispered, so only Ken and Eleis heard it.

Ken let go of Eleis's wrist, and she pulled back, putting her black folding fan away.

"Guards, take Nikolis away," Noah ordered as he glared at Eleis. "I don't know who you are or why all these people fear and obey you... But attacking or harming anyone isn't going to slide here, even if that brat was the one that shot first," he stated, making Eleis smile with amusement.

"Let's take this somewhere else," Ken spoke out, making both Eleis and Noah agree.

---------------

On the balcony of the main building of the VR center.

Noah looked at the two in front with frustration.

"So, mind telling me?" Noah questioned, glaring at both Ken and Eleis.

Ken glanced at Eleis and sighed, "Remember I was obsessed with something and tried to make it day and night to the point you called in for help to all you could at the time?"

Noah frowned, "Yeah, I do... you tried to make someone and you were obsessed with it to the point you didn't eat or sleep. Every time you failed to make that someone, but failed and..."

Noah looked deeply at Eleis as he figured out the situation but that also made it more complex. "That someone you tried to recreate was her... I can understand why you failed and discarded everything that you ever made..."

Noah looked down and leaned on the wall.

"Oh my~! Why do I not know of this~! You tried to recreate me~?" Eleis curiously asked as she looked at Ken, who looked annoyed. "Hmm, now that I think of it, I do remember you being obsessed over something on Earth as well but failed to recreate it. Never thought that someone was me all along~," she whispered, making Ken's fist clench and a trickle of blood fall.

Ken's nails had dug into his palms.

"That is none of your business..." Ken coldly said, making Eleis smirk, but she kept her mouth shut.

Noah looked at the two with annoyance, "Sigh..." He sighed and then grew serious, "Both of you are blessed ones, but neither of you are registered in the data bank." He stated, making both Ken and Eleis freeze and look at Noah in confusion. Both scanned him head to toe, but neither could sense anything.

"I am not a blessed one... and who do you think I am to not know about blessed ones? I am the chief holder of the VR community and also one of the founders," Noah announced, making both Ken and Eleis think for a bit.

"Yeah, makes sense... this isn't Earth, it's BlueVail," Eleis concluded, and Ken nodded in agreement. "If it was Earth, then I doubt anyone would even know about blessed ones if there weren't any blunder or drama," she added and looked at Ken, who was much calmer but still pissed off.

Eleis's character was off, and she was back to her usual self.

"Tell him or not? I rather not have any other involved in this shit," she inquired, and Ken shot her a glare.

"First take another form," Ken growled out, and Eleis stuck her tongue out.

"Blah! It is not happening, this is permanent," Eleis rejected playfully, making Ken almost lose his calm.

"...," Ken shot her another glare, but then...

"Mind explaining? Or do I leave you two to flirt?" Noah frustratedly cut in, catching the two's attention.

Ken hesitated for a bit. "Sigh, it's complicated," Ken finally said, and Eleis on the side rolled her eyes.

"As if, you just don't want to be bothered to explain..." Eleis muttered under her breath and looked away. "Not like I am going to, heh." She smirked as she took in the view of the night city.

"We aren't blessed ones," Ken stated. "I—"

"Wait! What do you mean by that?" Noah cut Ken off immediately. "Are you telling me there are just blessed ones that got supernatural powers and stuff? Hold on, you need to start from the very start. No, I will ask you, and you answer them,"

Noah bewilderedly commanded, and Ken shrugged. "Go right ahead," he agreed, not minding Noah's commanding tone.

"I heard her mention Earth before. What is she referring to? Is it a planet similar to ours, BlueVail and Aerks?" he interrogated.

"Aerks? As in the world where Arcanum Ages of Valor takes place?" Ken perplexedly asked.

"Yes," Noah instantly answered, and his eyes told Ken to hurry up.

"You guys gave it a name...?" Ken skeptically questioned, completely off track.

"Yes, and back to the point..." Noah replied, a bit annoyed.

"Earth is a planet similar to BlueVail but small and very undeveloped in terms of technology," Ken answered, not messing around anymore.

"Ok, now what do you mean you two aren't blessed ones? Are you implying that there are things that are yet to be uncovered?" Noah continued his interrogation, and it became more of an interview.

"No, we are similar, but we don't have the blessings. We can use the VR pods to go to 'Aerks' with our real selves, and we can return without a problem," Eleis answered this time, making Ken's and Noah's attention shift.

"Don't underestimate us. We might not be blessed or anything, but we aren't weak," she confidently declared, making Noah look at Ken for confirmation.

Ken nodded. "If you exclude the beta players, I would be the strongest player," he declared, making Noah think for a bit.

"That doesn't tell me much... but it's good to know that you are the strongest," Noah muttered and smiled a bit. "Now then, are there more than the two of you?"

"None," both Ken and Eleis answered at the same time.

"So, the blessed ones and you two are supernatural beings now..." Noah muttered as he went into deep thought.

"Wow, you are taking this more calmly than I had expected!" Eleis complimented, making Noah look at her with a little suspicion. He didn't trust her in the slightest and was always cautious of her, but since Ken showed himself able to handle her, he was pretty relaxed.

Noah looked at Eleis with a complex mix of emotions. "I have been dealing with this for seven years now... and even after seven years, if I were to be unaware, then I am nothing more than incompetent," he remarked.

"So, you should know about Aisa being a blessed one as well then," Ken inquired.

"I found out the same day the blessings were given out, and about why she received it..." Noah bitterly said, making Ken frown.

'So, you knew...' Ken dryly thought and looked at the uncaring Eleis, who was back to her lazy and carefree self. "Let's wrap things up. If you want to have a proper interrogation, let's do it at a later date. We have plenty of time for it,"

Ken suggested, and Noah looked hesitant but soon gave in after some persuasion.

"Fine, I will set up a date later on, but that day I will need all the answers. Things aren't so well in the higher-ups of the VR community, and this info might just make things go downhill if there isn't enough evidence and information,"

Noah gave up and turned around to walk off, but just before he did. "Almost forgot..." he muttered and turned to Eleis. "Who are you...?" he seriously asked.

Ken facepalmed, and Eleis nearly burst out laughing. "Pft!" Eleis covered her mouth and looked away. After a bit, she looked at Noah. "My name is Eleis Eyrluna Ysolde. You can say I am eternal companions with Ken here~!" she introduced herself and smirked at Ken, who looked away.

"Eleis Eyrluna Ysolde... Never heard of you, but ok. There will be charges against you, but I will deflect them for now and keep tabs on you. Next time, follow the rules. You attacked me. I am unharmed, so I don't care, but next time there will be consequences that you would not be ready to face,"

Noah warned and left Ken and Eleis alone. "Is he serious about that?" Eleis skeptically asked as she looked at Ken.

"Yes, he was. Did you forget that Siria is a part of the VR community? Are you sure you can deal with her?" Ken countered, making Eleis nod in understanding.

"I wouldn't win, but I wouldn't lose, so who knows!" she confidently stated, making Ken give her a doubtful look. "So, are you going to tell me about the obsession!? I am very curious about it now!!!" she excitedly asked as she stepped right in front of Ken, who stood unbudging.

"It's an obsession that I can't explain. On Earth, I was obsessed over it, and even in BlueVail, where my memories were sealed away, I was still obsessed over it... So, I don't know myself," Ken honestly answered. "But what I do know is that your taking her form is making me pissed off," he added.

"I can tell from our connection! That anger is really something, pretty overwhelming!" Eleis concluded with a smile that really made Ken's heart skip a beat, which was noticed by both Ken and Eleis, who looked teasingly.

"Well, I won't tease you. I myself have to admit it. She is beautiful, but she is me now!" she asserted, her tone absolute. "And there is nothing you can do about it!" she proclaimed, which was true. Ken couldn't do anything.

"What a pain..." Ken muttered and walked off as well, leaving Eleis alone.

After a while, Eleis looked at the view of the night city with a frown. "I don't know why you are obsessed, and you don't either.... so only Thraxis knows? Guess I will have to figure it out then," Eleis shrugged and left as well.

In the hallway,

Ken quietly walked, heading towards the party, although his reason for being there was to attend a meeting but it got canceled by Noah.

"Neo," He called out and Neo materialized beside him, walking at the same pace as him. "My third wish:____"

If you have ideas about my story, feel free to mention them! This novel's plots are planned but not all minor plots. Any ideas are accepted, even if they are the stupidest things you can think of! (Well, not the overly sexual + fiercely Dark kinds) I will try to add them in!
