Eleis never stops teasing | Not a monstrosity... but a Horror beast

Ken, who sat at the city wall reloading his revolver, froze in place. His calm mind started to think about Eleis while his heart raced, his obsession boiling a bit.

Light gathered beside Ken and a figure started to manifest. Ken's mind and heart had already told him who it was as he felt the increase in his obsession boiling. After a few seconds, Eleis manifested and stretched her body as she peeked at Ken with one eye.

"Eleis, why are you here...?" Ken calmly asked as he hid his boiling obsession that had acted out of nowhere.

"Oh, nothing much. I came to see things in person. I will be hanging around Aisa most of the time tho," Eleis answered while looking around. "The wall structure is pretty good, it's even infused with magic and even hieroglyphics are engraved," she remarked.

"The structure being good is because all the walls are based off the Great Wall of China, but just thousands of times better. This wall could probably take a mini nuke head on and only crack," Ken complimented as he watched Eleis, who was still wearing her sleeveless shirt and high-waisted pants. "Change to something that fits the setting..." he ordered, making Eleis look at him in confusion.

Eleis looked at her outfit. It was modern-day and around was medieval. "What's wrong with my clothes? Pretty sure that there are people with modern clothes around the city," she asked as she spotted a little boy who was wearing a kid's school uniform that was undoubtedly modern.

Ken grumbled a bit and sighed. "Tell me... If a goddess who looks so defenseless walks into a city full of slave traders and thugs, do you think she will be safe? Even a noble or royalty need to give guard for that reason here..." Ken questioned, making Eleis smile in amusement. "Of course, unless that goddess is you... Even so, the hassle that tags along with that pretty face of yours is too annoying to deal with." Eleis giggled at Ken's roundabout reasoning. She was enjoying Ken being possessive of her. She could feel him holding back but making her in the mood for a little teasing.

"So roundabout, but sure." Eleis's clothes glowed and covered her whole body. After a moment, the glow disappeared.

Eleis now wore a completely different attire: black, silver, and gray full-body armor that looked like a legendary iden set. An armor that glittered in the sunlight in its magnificent black-gray shine, the armor looked like it came out of a sci-fi anime. Eleis's whole body was covered in a thin layer of her armor, with her shoulders having a thick guard that trailed down to her wrist. Her chest and midriff were covered in a tight plate wrapping. Her sides and back were covered in a sheet-like armor that made her curves stand out a bit.

From her hips, it was a black skirt that covered half her thigh, and under that, it was a black armor-like stocking that didn't show a bit of skin. She also had a pair of heels that gave her an aura of allure that somehow enhanced her body's appearance up a level. Following all that, she wore a mask that covered her face, only revealing her eyes. Even her ears were covered. The mask had an extension that went around the back of the head and connected to the neck armor.

Ken stared, dumbstruck. "Like what you see~?" Eleis coyly asked as she spun on her heels.

Ken took a heavy breath and looked away to the forest in the distance. "Not the right time..." he muttered under his breath. For Ken, no matter what Eleis wore, he would love it, but his stubborn mind refused to fall into her obvious honey trap. He would only go out on his own terms, never on hers.

"You should get going, the event will start in 15 minutes..." he advised as he stared into Eleis's teasing eyes.

Eleis giggled but obeyed and left. "Just a little more and you are mine," Eleis muttered under her breath as she walked downstairs and headed to the alleyways. She looked back right before a corner at Ken, who tried to get her out of his mind. She giggled, feeling Ken trying to ignore her through the connection.

She didn't bother Ken and left to find Aisa.

Ken took deep breaths as he felt his obsession cool down a bit, signaling Eleis was going further away. He stared at the timer that slowly ticked down, and finally, it reached 3 minutes.

Tip-tap tip-tap tip-tap

The sound of footsteps came, and even more came.

Ken looked at the fortress-like structures that were connected to the wall and watched armored guards flood in and take positions. Hundreds of guards flooded into the wall's path and stood side by side, keeping a meter of distance between them.

Ken glanced at the timer that was already closing in on 2 minutes and looked back. The guards were very disciplined; they had taken their positions in a very nice way and were also standing at attention.

Ken looked at both sides, seeing them filled with guards, and then looked at the 5-meter gap between him and the closest guard in confusion. But then someone stepped beside him and stood like a rod stuck to the ground.

It was a man who looked to be in his 40s with brown hair and eyes, wearing a military uniform instead of armor like the guards. The man looked at Ken from the corner of his eye. "I am the City Guard Captain, Hector Willis," he introduced himself. "Might I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" he politely but seriously asked.

Ken's eyes sharpened. "I am Ken Valxin, The Strongest Player," Ken introduced himself with his title, and his whole demeanor changed to a serious but noble one.

Hector stared at Ken for a moment and smiled. "I could tell the moment I saw you that you were strong and maybe one of the strongest players, but never thought you would be The Strongest Player," he turned to Ken and placed his right hand on his chest. "I dearly hope your presence here will decrease the casualties," he wished, making the other guards a bit shocked.

"You don't have to worry about that. I have my own agendas, and to accomplish some of them, I need the city to take as little damage as possible," Ken stated, making Hector smile wider.

Ken shifted his attention to the timer and waited for it to reach zero.

The timer was already below 30 seconds and was reaching the single digits, and it did.

Ken took a deep breath as his grip tightened on the revolver that was filled with explosive bullets.

Ken looked back at the time, and it was at the final countdown.

Silence fell, a very heavy silence. The sun disappeared and the night starry sky replaced it.

"KKEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!"

A horrific screech rang out from the deep forest, and the wind raged out, blasting towards the city.

Crack Crack!

Shatter!!!

The sound of glass shattering came, but there was no screaming from the people. Looking back, the streets were empty with the adventurers, players, and a few guards at the gates preparing to open the gates with their weapons in hand.

Balls of light began to float up, illuminating the city and the surroundings, although the majority didn't need much light to see, it was a good call nonetheless.

Ken glanced at the players, adventurers, and guards who had a variety of emotions on their faces. Almost all the adventurers and guards were scared, but they were ready to fight for their lives, while the players were excited as for them this was just a game, unaware of the truth.

"KKEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!"

Another screech came, and on the horizon, a figure showed itself, slowly climbing a hill. It was a never-seen monster for all except for Ken, who already knew from the anime.

It was a towering monstrosity, with a muscular build and no skin. It had 7 sinister vine-like tentacles that protruded out of its back, with 3 of them having bulging ends, while the other four had sharp ends like the tip of a vine. Its head was like a human skull but elongated, its head was what would be called an alien with 5 beady eyes.

"What in the hell kind of monster is this...?" Hector mumbled as he stared at the monstrosity standing on the hill.

"It's not a monster," Ken stated, making Hector and a few guards look at him in confusion. "That's a beast... a horror beast," he announced, making the hearts of all who heard him sink.

"A beast... that means that monstrosity is level 100...?" One of the guards tremblingly asked, making the place go silent.

"Yes, a monster that has crossed the power of a level 100 human is considered a beast, and that is because they are highly intelligent. Some have the intelligence of an average human, while some are beyond human intelligence range. But you shouldn't despair. Humans that have reached level 100 aren't considered human anymore, but High-Humans. And no matter what, just a level 100 monster with beyond human-level intelligence can't compare to a High-Human's intelligence." Ken explained calmly, making everyone listen closely.

This somewhat boosted the morale of the guards. After all, knowing that your race is better than another one that is much stronger in a specific aspect can be motivating. But this only works for those who don't think about it much, and in this situation, only Hector was able to connect the dots. But to keep the morale up, he shut his mouth.

"Sir Ken... Monsters in general are stronger than humans... will this remain the same in the case of a High-Human and a beast?" Hector whispered his question.

Ken looked at the horror beast on the hill that seemed to be waiting and turned to Hector with a serious look. "It didn't change... physically, magically, and spiritually, humans are weaker, and the only advantage we have is our numbers and intelligence." Ken dropped, making Hector go pale. "Now, don't ask any more about beasts... it is a taboo topic for the public, and the city guards are considered public," Ken warned and shifted his attention to the horror beast that was looking around the forest.

Meanwhile,

Eleis, standing on the roof, looked at the horror beast with nonchalance, her mind already forming countless ways of how Ken would kill it.

BAM!

"ARGGGG!!!!" a man screamed, catching Eleis's attention. Looking at an alleyway, she smiled.

Aisa had just crushed the leg of one of the fools that surrounded her. Aisa looked coldly at Butch, who was glaring at her. "Come on, you useless trash! I paid you well, so do your damn work!!!" he shouted, making the men that surrounded Aisa hesitate.

Aisa didn't care about them. She was here for the event, and they had made her miss the start of it, which pissed her off.

Clap Clap!

Eleis clapped and jumped down, landing beside Aisa, who was startled but upon recognizing Eleis even tho Eleis had a mask on, she let her guard down. "Enough for today," Eleis announced, and marble-sized fireballs appeared around her and shot out at all the thugs that surrounded them.

WOSSSS!

And instantly, the fireball made contact and turned them into ashes, leaving only Butch alive.

"Aisa, let's go. This fool will lead us to the black market," Eleis smilingly said.

Butch fell on his back and looked in dread. He tried to scream, but no voice came out. Of course, this was Eleis's doing as well.

From the moment she jumped down, her actions were smooth, unpredictably fast, and completely overpowering.
