Dungeon cleared and the little tiger again

He threw the sword like a spear straight into the Cyclops' only eye!

And the sword went in.

But it wasn't enough to kill it. The Cyclops started to thrash around, making Ken back off. "...Of course, it won't die so easily," Ken grumbled and picked up a branch.

The branch glowed in a blue hue, a sign of him using his skill. He took a stance and aimed.

And hurled it with all his might.

Swoosh!

The branch went straight into the head, completely embedded inside. The Cyclops writhed even more, and finally, its movements slowed and it stopped.

It was dead. R.I.P.

Ken smiled, satisfied with what he had gained, and looked at the dead Cyclops. "If only I had a space ring, life would be so convenient," he muttered and got to work.

He pulled his sword from the eye and then cut the chest of the Cyclops, exposing the heart.

The heart was bigger than a human head. Ken sighed, cut out the heart, and placed it on the abdomen of the Cyclops.

[You know you got 5,000 System points, right? You can get a space ring for 2,000 and some tools to get the heart as well for 500...]

The system confusedly asked, making Ken shake his head. "Not worth it. I am not strong enough to protect a space ring, plus the tools are unnecessary. I need to get used to stuff like this." Ken answered as he started to get himself cleaned up in a water stream nearby.

He then took the heart, washed off the blood, and tossed it in his bag.

[You sure you don't need the heart to be intact? It would be in pieces by the time you reach the city. Those Andrewsarchus are very sharp and would definitely make sure that the heart is juice,]

The system lazily remarked, as she basically returned to her normal state.

"It needs to be in pieces in the first place. The heart is used for some medicine and potions, and to make those medicine and potions you need pieces of the Cyclops' heart." Ken patiently explained as he made his way out of the dungeon.

On the 7th floor, he carefully made his way, making sure to avoid all the monsters and stay clear of all the areas that had slight trembling. "I might just return for this Elemental if it's not dead by the time I reach level 50..." Ken started to plan as he continued to leave the dungeon.

After about 3 hours, he was finally on the 1st floor and was making his way out of the cave when he noticed a familiar figure on the side of the entrance. He paused.

It was the little tiger, Luna.

Ken and Luna silently looked at each other, and after a moment, Luna pointed towards the side where Ken wouldn't have any visual and gestured with her paw as if she was trying to convey something. Ken nodded gratefully and started to walk again, but this time his steps were silent.

He reached the entrance and glanced at the little tiger that was looking at his hand.

Ken smiled and activated his new skill: Quick Step.

He disappeared and reappeared the next moment beside a tree that hid the cave from his sight and silently started to walk off, making sure that he avoided everything that could give away his location in any way.

After a while, he glanced back and met eyes with Luna, who was now sitting in the lap of Sophy, who eagerly looked inside the cave.

"Thanks for that," he mouthed, and Luna seemed to smile and nodded.

Ken then went on his way.

[How the fuck do you understand that little tig-... Never mind, it is probably your affinity and the little tigers have something in common...]

The system was baffled, to say the least. She was confused, but she found her answer herself, even though she was unsure of it.

Ken shrugged, not saying anything.

Meanwhile, back at Luna's side,

"I wonder when he will come back. If he is going for the boss, then he should be done by now, right? It has been 4 hours now..." Sophy muttered as she petted Luna in her lap, who shook her furry head.

Luna glanced at Ken, who was far enough for the trees and vegetation to cover him. Luna's eyes glowed and Ken's figure outlined in her eyes. She checked the distance between them, and without Sophy, who was in her own world now, Luna disappeared.

Sophy peeked down and then returned her attention to the cave, not minding Luna's disappearance in the slightest.

Plop!

Luna plopped down on Ken's shoulder, making herself comfortable, and looked at Ken's hand that was on his sword, slightly drawn.

Ken let go of the sword, recognizing that it was Luna, the little tiger, and petted her.

[WTF WAS THAT REACTION SPEED!!! HOW THE FUCK DID YOU MANAGE TO DO THAT!!?? NO MATTER WHAT, YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT AT THIS LEVEL! THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONLY FOR LEVEL 60 AND ABOVE SHIT, NOT WHEN YOU CROSS LEVEL 40!!!]

The system screamed in bafflement and shook.

Luna had appeared a little above Ken, and the moment she appeared, Ken had already peeked back with his sword ready to be unsheathed and strike.

'I only reacted like that because I felt that it would happen and so I was alert. I felt that this little tiger would come, but I wasn't sure, so I was alert for both an attack and the little tiger,' Ken explained the best he possibly could.

'I don't know what and how, but I know for sure that it has something to do with not just my affinity.' He left it vague; he wasn't sure, so he wasn't going to give an answer here but only gave what he knew.

Luna purred and rubbed her furry head on Ken.

Ken stopped petting her and curiously looked at her. "You should go back; it's better for you to be with your master than hang around here," he advised, making Luna tilt her head.

Luna nodded and disappeared again, but not without giving Ken a lick on the cheek.

[...Now I am jealous... UGH!!!! I am going to pester Thraxis!!]

She yelled, and a notification popped up in front of Ken.
