Aisa is to Naive... The start of trouble from the system!

"Who is he? you know him?" Butch asked as he got closer to Aisa ho frowned seeing Ken's smile.

"I dont care who the fuck you are but get away from her now... or else" Ken glared at Butch, stepped forward, and pulled Aisa behind while stepping in front of Butch who smiled bitterly.

"Big brother? What are you doing!?" Aisa questioned but Ken squeezed her wrist making Aisa flinched a bit and stay silent.

"Wow man I am just helping her there is no need to get serious," Butch raised his hands up to his chest while chowing his palms to Ken. "I am not here for a fight, ok... If you want me to leave I will," He added and took some steps back and turned to leave.

Ken didn't stop him, he only looked on and focused his attention on Aisa who stood quietly with a frown, "What were you thinking following a stranger... Also, do not tell me that he was guiding you to the association and stuff because he wasn't," Ken admonished her immediately, shutting down any naive clueless response she might give.

"I... sorry... I was a little bothered about something and didn't pay attention..." Aisa meekly said, 'What did I do wrong...? Is it bad to accept a helping hand...'

Aisa thought naively, she didn't know what wrong she had done but was aware that she was wrong, and seeing Ken's reaction she knew she had done something really wrong.

"Sigh... Never follow a stranger, even if they have no ill intention, especially not in a medieval world, and I dont think I will need to tell you about it do I?" Ken gently said not being able to really scold her.

"Ok, let's go to the association. Also, called that girl you added as a friend yesterday to join you," Ken let go of Aisa's wrist and started to walk in the direction he came from.

Occasionally he looked back at Aisa, just making sure that she was following, "Is it bad in a game as well... what if he was trying to help and didn't have ill intention...?" Aisa muttered in a soft tone making Ken pause and Aisa to almost crash into him.

"Even so, do not repeat that... That man wasn't helping you, but guiding you to the city wall, he was taking a longer route through the city so you wouldn't catch on," Ken explained while ruffling Aisa's hair,

"You didn't read the about section of the game did you? This game is a realistic simulation which means that everything is present, the dark side and the light side of society,"

Aisa frowned, "Everything... even what happened 7 years ago?" She asked her voice barely a whisper.

"Yes, even that and much worse," Ken stated making Aisa flinch a bit which made Ken's hands ball into fists. "You dont need to worry much, although this can get hard and horrible there is a system that measures your emotional level and takes actions accordingly,"

Aisa nodded and looked at Ken with a small blush on her cheeks, "They are staring at us..."

"I know... I can't do anything about it..."

Both Ken and Aisa were incredibly good so naturally, they going to attract attention no matter where they went. The people and some layers were staring, pointing, or talking about them heatedly.

Both Ken and Aisa ignored them and Ken dropped Aisa in the association and headed his way, they had already planned to do this. before the game had started as some basic info was already present to go by.

Ken on his way bought a sword and strapped it to his hip. "40 copper for this sword... a scam..." He bitterly said but didn't really care much about it.

[What now? You going to go hunting? with a sword... Do you even know how to use a sword]

"A little... I got to wield a sword on earth for a while, so I am a little familiar with it" Ken answered, leaving the city and sprinting to the forest.

[In that case here you go]

A screen popped up in front of Ken but he didn't stop sprinting and red what was on the screen he increased the speed even more.

[Quest

"Well, this is getting more interesting but I dont see the point of the title..."

[The title 'Anomaly' gives you more challenges meaning more opportunity and a mysterious aura that will help you in any situation! Or cause you headaches in every situation~!]

"Hmm, more challenges sound good," Ken remarked as he entered the forest at his top speed which was 28km/hr.

The forest he was in was just around 2 km away from the city the close forest making it the ideal hunting ground for new adventurers.

Ken continued to sprint, ignoring all the things that came in between, focusing on finding a giant bear. He even passed a pack of wolves that seemed to be feasting on a group of goblins. Ken marked the place and continued on, not caring about anything, he crossed many monsters, even coming across some bears but they weren't giant bears so he ignored them.

And finally after almost half an hour.

Ken found one and grinned seeing the absolutely monstrous bear in front of him.

(Image of the bear)

"So this is why it's called giant bear... the anime really downplayed its size, his thing is massive," He commented while climbing on a tree to get a better vantage.

He looked at the bear and assessed its size, "This thing is almost 5 times bigger than a normal bear... and they call the lion the king of the forest..." He dropped a sarcastic remark.

(Image of a comparison between a normal bear and a giant bear.)

[I do not even know what to say...this thing is big. also, it looks like it just had a meal and is resting...]

"Hmm, look like that, and now how the hell am I supposed to kill it..."

Growl!!

The bear growled and got up, its massive body making a tree beside it bend from the weight

[It probably heard you or smelled you,]

The bear turned in the direction of Ken but it wasn't looking up but around the ground.

"And this is why I climbed the tree... they would sniff me out but it will take a little more time, I just hope the big guy doesn't see me and start to ram the tree down,"

The giant bear leisurely walked under the tree while sniffing around, it sniffed the tree and started to sniff around lazily. It started to head in the direction Ken came from.

[...that bear sure is lazy... it only had to look up or lean into the tree...]

The system remarked making Ken's lip twitch. 'You want me dead, huh? well, a pity but I am living till the day I decide I want to die,'

Ken took his sword and a coin, he threw the coin at the tree right next to the one he was in with all his might.

tick

It only made a little sound but that was enough, as the bear turned around and looked. It started to sniff around and moved to the coin and that was the moment Ken was waiting for.

Ken pounced down, pointing his sword at this head and plunging it into the bear with no mercy.

ROAR!!!!!!

The bear roared but it was already too late for that.

The quest screen appeared in front of Ken.

Ken grinned seeing this, "Now then the hard part is gone,"

Another screen popped up and this time it was an in-game screen,

"Hmm, this looks promising, just one kill and I am already level 5. it's a pity that they won't show the exp amount..." Ken lamented a bit.

[If I had a form you would see me having a cold sweat... You know very well why they refuse to put a or show the exp... because of players like you who would abuse the knowledge and farm them like madmen...]

"...True," Ken couldn't help but agree as if in any case he was able to see the exp gain he would really be farming 99% of the time, and would absolutely be an unimaginably powerful player who would only dominate.
