We finally arrived home and I was ushered in by the servants.

I was shocked to find four to six doctors waiting

" ma, sir asked them to make sure all your wounds are attended to, and also he'll soon be back," one of the servants said and I nodded

I took a sit on the couch and one of the female doctors came toward me with a smile

" Mr. Copeland just loves exaggerating things, it's just a little wound " she sighed

" yep dont mind him "

" well your husband said you were attacked and severely injured and he wanted you to be treated at home so I asked some of my colleagues to come with me thinking you were shot and had lost a lot of blood, pardon my manners am doctor Valerie " she introduced and gave me an injection

" Bella Copeland," I said with a smile as she made her final touch on my wound

" well I never imagined Mr. Copeland would one day get married, please don't be offended if I said anything wrong "she took a sit beside me

" naa it's okay " I waved it off

" Okay then I'll be on my way please feel free to call me for anything " she picked up her bag and made her way for the exit same with her colleagues.

I needed to freshen up as the blood stains on my clothes irritates me although I've gotten used to It I still needed to change but didn't know my way around the house

" hmm excuse me but where is my room," I asked the maid I spoke to when I arrived

" this way ma " she led the way towards the stairs.

we arrived at a door and she excused herself I walked Into the room stripped and went into the bathroom to find the bathtub already filled with water.

I could feel my tensed muscles relax as I steady myself in the bathtub and suddenly began feeling weak.

my eyes were too heavy for me to open so I closed them

~~ LEON'S POV ~~

After seeing Bella's state I called the doctor and quickly sorted out the issue between both the gangs.

I didn't care if they agreed to my condition or not I made it clear to both the team leaders that I would be pleased to send them to meet the devil if I hear any more arguments, killing or fights both their groups.

I arrived home and rushed to the room to find Bella's clothes on the ground

" Bella " I called but got no response. I made my way to the bathroom and found her asleep in the bathtub

I sighed with relief and carried her out of the bathtub before she catches a cold.

I was busy helping her get dressed when my phone rang I checked to find a call from Matt

" what's it, " I asked

" Why do you sound annoyed and how is sister-in-law doing"

" she's fine, why did you call "

" well you've been invited for dinner by Mr. Ivanov to discuss the contract " he informed and I just sighed

" What time "

" 8:00 pm "

" okay we'll be there, " I said and ended the call

I turned to find Bella sleeping peacefully and something about it brings me an unusual calmness

I leaned close and peck her on the forehead

am not going to spare bolins brother for what he did

watch out nameless rascal you've just tramped on the tail of a lion

I examined her wounds and they weren't severe just a little scratch on her hand and a wound on her head.

I woke up but felt too lazy to open my eyes

I felt strong arms around my waist

and tried turning around but couldn't.

I slowly opened my eyes to find Leon sleeping beside me

wait hold on what the fuck is happening

if I could remember I was in the bathtub and I wasn't on any clothes so how did I get here

" what are you thinking about," he asked with his eyes closed

" hmm . . . it's nothing "

" Okay then go back to sleep we still have sometime before we go for dinner," he said with his eyes still closed

" go for dinner where? "

" one of my clients invited me for dinner and since am not permitted to go to any social gathering without my wife you're coming with me " he pulled me close making me lie on his chest

" okay then, but I can't sleep anymore, since you're still tired I'll let you rest, " I said and laid back beside him.
