"Oh, Nevuda, what am I going to do? The king had set a date for my engagement with the prince next week. Getting engaged to Prince Dundeas officially isn't part of my plan." Gala quivered as she paced back and forth inside her chamber. Her hands were on her waist.
Nevuda was concernedly looking at Gala's troubled state. "I know Gala... " She responded by approaching her and softly tapping her hands, then smiling and saying cheerfully, "However, you must look on the bright side. The king has promised you to tour you inside his library today."
Gala looked at her with a baffled expression. Nevuda blabbered too hastily and too keenly about the king's library. She understood her, though; she had every right to be excited about the slim chance of finally retrieving Duræn and restoring the land of Dhorndur, the rightful land of the dwarves.
