Chapter 28 Who is dis?!

"Why are you helping Kingpin! Who are you?" Daredevil yelled as he asked,

"Me,hahaha, I guess you can call me an accomplice of his,my people call me the gladiator" Tom heard the man and was confused

'Who the hell is gladiator and where is Melvin' he thought to himself

The gladiator immediately ran to the side where a costume was present,made of thick metal

He immediately picked up the other gauntlet from the stands and wore it,laughing like a maniac as he taunted the two

"Come on! Let me see how you fair against my fists"

Matt didn't wait for Tom to act as he launched himself at the man,Tom also decided not to use the body binding curse as this wasn't any emergency,plus the man seemed like a great martial artist like Matt and was physicall a superhuman in strength

He have a look at the gladiator themed clothes on the stand and wondered how powerful the man would have been had he been wearing that

Tom used his quirk as his body began to harden ,rocky texture began to cover his whole body as his body gave off a few sparks due to the gritty texture

As he saw Matt fly back the second time,Tom rushed in and punched at the man,now named gladiator

*Bang*

the sound of the fist colliding with the man's face ring out as he was sent tumbling back and banging into the work table,though that wasn't all that happened as the man also dealt a blow, a bladed strike right at Toms stomach

Though it was ranked by the combination of the skin itself and its the ring of protection on him

This went and showed how sharp the gauntlets blade were,though Tom didn't shy away as he launched himself at Gladiator,raising down punches after punches

The guy in question though wasn't some canon fodder or didn't act like one as he also slashed and hacked at Tom

Matt came knocking at this moment as he wrapped his legs around Gladiators head to choke him

The gladiator seeing this was about to slash with his gauntlet blades but Tom wasn't having any of it as he used his legs to catch the gladiators bladed hands while raining down punches

This continued for a few moments before the oxygen in Gladiators body finally ran out and he stopped moving

The both of them huffed and puffed like athletes on a marathon as they looked at each other

Matt noticed the rocky appearance of Tom's body

"Is that sorcery as well" He asked

"you could say that,come on, let's tie him and then ask for answers" Tom got up as he began looking for something to tie the villain up

"couldn't you have just used that magic of yours to freeze him in place" Matt asked

"Huh! That's because I wanted to see how far my new spell could take me against an enemy with blades" Tom replied

After looking around,they finally noticed a rope and quickly tied the villain up after taking off his protective suit that was made of the same material as that of kingpin and his gauntlets

Tom swiftly pulled the two gauntlets into his storage for later along with any material he could get his hands on

Matt also noticed this but didn't say anything as Tom proceeded to light the other suits that belonged to the hulking kingpin on fire

Splashing some water onto the gladiators face,the two woke him up

As soon as the man woke up,he tried to stand only to feel the restrictions on him,the chains and ropes rattled as he tried to escape but a punch from Tom makes him stop his activities as he spat out a teeth

"Calm down and answer our questions if you don't want to die" Tom yelled

"What's you relation with Kingpin?" Matt asked as he gave a punch to the face

"Pruitt! He's my daddy! What else could it be,he has many,I have the skills,we both gain something" the gladiator made fun of Matt as he answered

Tom felt that this guy was definitely not Melvin potter,though Math pulled out a picture of a small kid from his pockets and showed it to Gpadiator who went wide eyed as he thrashed in his seat,nearly breaking it but Tom managed to calm him down with a few more punches

"How do you have that! You bastard,if you lay a finger on her!" He yelled in anger though Matt'a next words stoped him

"I am not going to hurt her,I found this in your pockets,this is probably your child or someone close to you,do you really want to help kingpin knowing that it will be the same as destroying the lives of countless people,people who have kids like these" Matt yelled as he berated Gladiator

After a few more talk no Jutsus,the guy finally broke out of his character and showed some many tears,his huge body now hunched under the pressure of his child's life

"that's my child Betty, she is a kid I didn't know I had,one day,Kingpin and his men came to me with the details of her life,though they also came with a threat,if I don't work for him….for kingpin,they will kill her"

'So he really is Melvin potter,though I don't remember any Gladiator from the original series,perhaps he is a counterpart from the comics or such' Tom thought as he heard the conversation between the two
