Solving the curse

Inside Zorha's head, a storm raged as he struggled with the curse that had befallen him.

He felt the urge to tear at his own skin with his clawed fingers, but he resisted.

"What the heck is this!?"

He roared, his voice echoing inside his mind.

Suddenly, a bell chimed, and a voice spoke to him.

Ding!

[ Curse reconnecting to the real world. ]

Ding!

[ Curse reconnecting to the real world. ]

Ding!

[ Curse reconnecting to the real world. ]

It said,

[ For the player to avoid the curse, the player Zorha must avoid losing to a verbal confrontation or having sudden authority to anyone. ]

Zorha gritted his teeth, knowing that this curse would only bring him trouble.

He scoffed at the curse, but deep inside, he couldn't deny the feeling of arrogance that was creeping up on him.

It was as if he needed to be arrogant in order to complete his very being.

"Shit, I'll get in trouble after this."

He muttered, his nerves on edge.

Zorha couldn't afford to lose the trust of his people or his army, but this curse threatened to tear him apart.

Outside, the Asuras were grateful to Zorha for leading them to victory against the grizzly and their blood druids.

They hailed him as a hero, a savior, and a protector.

Zorha could sense their adulation, but he also knew that it was fleeting.

He couldn't let his guard down, not with this curse hanging over him like a sword.

As the Asuras gathered around him, Zorha could sense their mixed feelings.

They looked at each other, unsure of what to make of their leader's sudden change in demeanor.

But then they nodded, as if coming to a realization.

"He must have tamed a cursed weapon."

One of them whispered.

"It's not our coalition leader's fault."

Another Asura added.

"Our leader can take that curse anytime, we always believe in him."

Another one eagerly.

On the top, while being carried, pretending to asleep, Zorha felt a glimmer of hope, knowing that at least some of his people understood him.

He was also satisfied, the arrogance in his head was satisfied.

Zorha knew that the Asuras were no strangers to cursed weapons.

They were rare and powerful, but they came with a price.

Only the bravest and most skilled warriors dared to tame them, knowing that they risked their very souls.

Zorha had taken that risk, and now he was paying the price.

Not long after, they reached their destination.

"Coalition leader, Sire, we're here!"

Zorha's army roared, their voices echoing across the cliff.

He looked out at the stunning view, feeling a sense of peace wash over him.

But it was short-lived.

Zorha knew that he couldn't let his guard down, not with this curse hanging over him in the real world.

"Well, that was a great view."

He said, turning to face his army.

He could sense their respect and admiration for him, but he also knew that they were wary of him.

Zorha was their leader, but he was also a man cursed.

"Well, this leader was satisfied, but I'm going to take a nap."

He continued.

"I want you all to clear any disturbance that you see or hear. Take them out. This future King...No...future Asura emperor wants to be left alone for now."

Zorha's command was met with silence.

The Asuras knew better than to question their leader, especially now that he was cursed.

They nodded in agreement and dispersed, leaving Zorha alone on the cliff.

He closed his eyes, trying to calm his mind, but the curse wouldn't let him rest.

Zorha could feel it gnawing at him, chipping away at his sanity.

But he refused to give in.

He would find a way to break this curse in this world, in his world, no matter what it took.

"Finally, I can now focus on myself."

Zorha sighed, feeling a sense of relief wash over him.

He had been so consumed with the curse that he had forgotten to take care of himself.

But now, he had an idea, a way to cure his curse or at least make it go away for a while.

If it didn't work, then so be it. He had nothing to lose.

"Asura form."

He whispered, his voice barely audible.

He closed his eyes, focusing all his energy on his transformation.

Slowly but surely, his red blood skin began to crawl back to his head, starting from his feet and hands.

Zorha could feel his body changing, growing shorter and weaker.

Then the question in his head was answered as he came back to his base form.

He opened his eyes, surprised and confused.

Then his eyes landed as he looked at his hands.

"Finally, I can feel that I'm lightheaded."

Zorha said with a relief in his tone.

Ding!

Zorha heard a warning from the system player interface.

[ Warning: player won't be able to use the system player interface if the player is not in his Asura form. ]

[ Player will come back to the basic base form and will ultimately not be affected by the curse. ]

Zorha's heart sank as he heard the warning.

Without access to the player interface, he would be left vulnerable to attacks and unable to communicate with his team.

But then, he realized something.

If he reverted back to his base form, he would no longer be affected by the curse.

Seeing this, Zorha was overjoyed as he breathed a sigh of relief.

He had a chance to break this curse once and for all.

But then, his eyes widened as he remembered something.

If he was cured, then his team would be cured too.

They would be left vulnerable in their base form, unable to use their powers or defend themselves against any danger.

Zorha immediately sprang into action, calling out to his team.

"Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!"

He used his sword and shield to make a sound.

He knew that his team would recognize the sound and come to his aid.

"I made a wrong move."

Zorha mumbled to himself, his voice filled with regret.

As the leader of the Asuras, he knew that he couldn't afford to make any mistakes.

Lives were at stake, and one wrong move could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

He had been too focused on curing his curse, and he had let his guard down.

"I should've commanded them to take me to those grizzlies or blood druids first."

Zorha said, his teeth clenched in frustration.

The worry was etched deep on his forehead, his mind racing with strategies and plans.

He couldn't let his people down, not when they depended on him for their very survival.

Zorha took a deep breath, hoping that he's just worrying too much.

When all of a sudden, his ears picked on something.

"ONGRAAOOHh!!"

"ONGRAAOOHh!!"

"ONGRAAOOHh!!"

Zorha's eyes snapped open as he heard the roars of beasts, followed by the resounding drums.

He knew that sound, it was the sound of battle.

He quickly got to his feet, readying himself for whatever lay ahead.

Thrum! Thrum! Thrum!

The sound was so loud that it felt like the cliff beneath Zorha's feet was about to break.

He recognized it immediately as the sound of a Deva Blood Druid.

These were powerful and dangerous foes that can be compared to Asura Devas and he knew that he had to act fast if he wanted to protect his people.

Zorha took a deep breath, focusing all his energy on the battle ahead.
