Chapter 35 - Masayuki the Tutor

Later, at the boy's house, Masayuki was showing him some notes and handwritten flashcards he had made since middle school. Emiko, Handa, and Souya are with him. Little did they know the Yuki fan club girls are spying on them outside through a window since Masayuki and his group are at the living room with the boy.

"And this is?" Masayuki asked while holding a flashcard that had the English word "thesis".

Trying to recognize the word on the flashcard, the boy responded back, "Um, is it thesis?"

"That's correct," Masayuki replied back while switching with another flashcard, this time it had the English word "laptop".

"Is that lap-top?"

"You're very close. It's laptop."

"Man, English is so hard, but you're so fluent in that language. What's your secret?"

Putting the flashcard down and gather them into one stack, Masayuki answered back readily, "Well, I watched a lot of English-dubbed videos on the internet and movies and shows on TV, and listened to English songs."

"Wow, that was so radical."

Smiling at the boy, Masayuki replied back, "Yes, it is radical."

Outside, while still spying, one of the Yuki fan club girls commented, "He's using his knowledge to gain a high status in our school despite being more of an introvert!"

"Yeah, you're right," another agreed with her.

But, suddenly, Souya looked at the window, causing the girls to hide out of sight.

Souya was suspicious at first, but she shrugged it off and turned around.

Later, after 5 o'clock had struck, Masayuki, alongside Emiko, Handa, and Souya, said goodbye to the boy and his mother before going home to their respective homes.

Not long after, at the intersection, Masayuki and Emiko parted ways with Souya and Handa, before going to their apartment.

At 7:33 p.m., at their apartment home, Masayuki and Emiko are eating Chicken Mushroom Soup and Rice for dinner. The atmosphere around them is peaceful as the sea.

"Man, I became more of a private tutor to that student," Masayuki commented to Emiko while eating.

"Yeah, big brother, I know you're smart for a long time," Emiko positively responded back.

"It's just I loved learning about stuff. And my learning methods are very, very radical and new."

"Yeah, you're right."

By 7:55 p.m., after dinner, Masayuki was washing the dishes while Emiko was wiping the table clean.

Not long after, Masayuki brushed his teeth at the bathroom, before doing his homework and writing about his day in his journal. By 9:56 p.m., he and Emiko turned off the lights and went to bed.
