Chapter 38

Craft beer collaborations, and the December holiday local brewing festival, arrived. They were overall fantastic; people raved about coffee and vanilla and bourbon-barrel notes, and bought limited-edition bottles from Luke. The local newspaper even ran a lighthearted fluffy piece on neighborhood businesses supporting each other, for which they all agreed to flustered-but-proud interviews and posed with beans and hops for staged photos. Don hid a few bottles away for special occasions, and happily agreed to future projects, maybe some sort of summer ale with lighter coffee notes.
