(06) OFF THE GRID

Jimmy , Sophia and Tony got to the hideout ... It was actually a small apartment in the local part of New Zealand , or more like what the Americans call it , " off the grid ".. no police surveillance, no much people living there , I would say the place was a remote area ...that town have literally stayed insignificant in Wellington for years ..

They packed the car at an underground garage , got down , and went into the apartment...

Sophia ; So whats the play here ? Anybody knows about this operation, Han , others ?

Jimmy; Han ga e us the order and we went forward with the plan .that's it.

Sophia ; hmmm.. so the triads still care about me .. so much , not to risk , hanging me out to dry , right ?

Tony ; Look, Sophia , we all care about you, ok . We would do anything to keep us safe , no matter the cost..

Sophia ; Frank, Sophia ? What's going on .. no trace of them ..

Jimmy ; yes , your majesty ..

Sophia ; ok , seriously, these two can't just disappear into the thin air, they've got to somewhere hiding ..

Tony ; yeah , that's the thing , we know they are very much alive and , not far way , but but where they are exactly, is what we can figure out...

Jimmy ; And we can't up out investigation because ..

Sophia ; the FBI might change their attention to you guys , or we might be exposed, yeah I get the whole thing ...

After some minutes, at the police station, a black SUV horned at the gate . The gate keeping officer , got up from his sit at the gate side and walked up to the gate , and saw two men , at the front seats of the black Chevrolet jeep .

Gate keeping officer; who are you guys ?

FBI agent 1 : is this guy kidding me ?

FBI agent 2 : Look pal , your chief is expecting us .. we just landed in Wellington some minutes ago , we are here to pick up Sophia Stanway ... Does that name , ring a bell ?

Gatekeeping officer : yes it does , but two other FBI agents came by earlier I think , an hour and some minutes ago , to pick her up ...

FBI agent 1 ; what ?? And you guys just handed her over ?

Gate keeping officer; They were wearing FBI uniforms, what could we have done ... , Anyways , you can drive your vehicle in , and meet the chief ...

They drove into the police compound and dashed to the chief's office ...

FBI agent 2 ; chief , please tell me that all this is some fucking prank ..

Police chief ; Well two other pf your agents came by earlier and picked up Sophia Stanway... Why are you guys here ?

FBI agent 1; fuck !!! This is so fucked up ... We just flew out here for this shit show ? .

FBI agent 2 ; look chief ,can you remember how those so-called agents look like , no ,not really, I didn't really take notice ,ok...

You guys , go sort your problems , I got a lot of work here to do ,ok , if you wouldn't mind ...

With rage , the FBI agents drove out of the police compound..while on the way, they called their assistant director...

FBI agent 1; hello sir ,

Assistant director; yes , johnny , you got her in the vehicle ?

FBI agent 1 ; yeah about that, we got there , but we were too late ..

Assistant director; what do you mean by you are too late ?

FBI agent 1 ; two guys dressed like us, came earlier and picked her up from the police compound..

Assistant director; hmmm.. so what are our options here ?

FBI agent 1; nothing yet sir, I am just trying to think through this ... We are really out of options right now ...

Assistant director ; if someone will go as far as moving in as FBI agents to extract Stanway, that means she must be a very important asset to whoever it is , or they are..

Alright, you guys should just lay low , for a couple of days, they couldn't have gone far enough ... Just keep your heads low .. it's Wellington, we aint got no jurisdiction there , so just try to blend in ... Words spreads very fast , maybe you might hear something...

FBI agent 1 ; copy that sir .... Let's go get some motel around ..

Jimmy talks to the head of the triads , Han , on phone ..

Han ; Hello jimmy , what's going on ?

Jimmy : Sir , nothing much, I think we pretty much , cool here ... We've got sophia here , and we plan to get back to Bangkok tomorrow morning ...

Han ; hmmm... Don't you think , it's too early , or too immediate.. I would suggest , that you guys should lay low , for a couple of days ... I will reach out .. when things are put in place ,alright... But before I hang up . Let me talk to Sophia ...

Jimmy ; ok ... ( Sophia come on, Han wants to say hi )

Sophia ; Han , so glad you came out for me.

Han : couldn't leave my best agent , out there , I had to do something . I am glad you are good. You three should sit tight .. I just heard that the FBI are in town , they will be moving around, asking questions, so I would suggest that , the lesser you indulge, the better, for you threes safety.... in two days , time , a jet would be sent , to wellington, a remote area , off the grid .. you guys will have a meeting point .. and you guys can get out of there neately without leaving any loose ends , ok ..

Sophia ; that's cool Han , Its an honour , working for this organization... So what's up with Frank and Vanessa , job gone cold ?

Han ; Sophia , it's not that simple to explain, ok .. Frank and Vanessa , I think they have hired help , they can't stay hidden like this for this long , without being tracked down .. I think they have hands... Someone is behind this whole thing .

Well I would put someone else on the job. Thats not your problem anymore , you should focus on resting up and getting back on your fit..
