chapter one truth

it started out with small pains all over my body nothing to be concerned about probably just growing pains but over time the pains didn't s.top and in fact, grew till my whole body constantly ached. I could hardly move let alone work. as in the children home all children over the age of 7 most help in the farmlands. right now I was leaned up against a tree as the pain grew, making me want to scream with pain. the farmer told one look at me and said girl how old are you? 11 I said forcing the words out of my clenched teeth. oh well that explains that. explains what? girl, you're getting your first form. if your going though this it means your not human girl. no I'm human I can't be..the pain started to amp up till I was screaming but the screaming slowly turned into howling looking down at my self I saw my hands shrinking , turning in paws , sliver fur covering the paws slowly my body changed till the pain faded but she I tried to stand I stood up on four legs instead of two. the farm stared at me his brown eyes huge. Your a were-fox oh the money I could make off you. he tried to grab me just as I backed away. the last werefox in this country oh the vampires will pay a Fortune for you. I whined and took off running the grass and trees blurring with tears my eyes couldn't shed. I tied to tell for help when I heard him running after me but all that came out was a bark they let him know where I was. soon I found a log with a space under it I crawled under it and hid. the farmer ran right passed me but I stayed put till the sunlight faded. then I came out. why me? I was a human wasn't I? this must be a dream I tried nipping myself self but when I opened my eyes I was still a fox and still in the forest. this was no dream it was a nightmare. dam-it how was I fox? foxes were hunted out of this country by the vampires who when they drank our blood could go into the sunlight for 50 years. hell, they were almost extinct pretty much everywhere. so how could I be one? the only ones who are alive right now are vampiric slaves. oh, wait what if I'm the hidden child of a vampiric slave? who ran away from her master then gave birth to me and then died and so I was put into the children's home without people knowing what I was. dam-it anywhere I go there will be vampires and people willing to sell me to those vampires. and I had no idea when I was going to turn back into a human. no that's not right I'm not human so I can't turn back into one. I looked at the moon scared and confused. it's cold out here I want to go home to my friends. I thought pitifully I crawled back into the hole I found and closed my eyes I had to rest. when I woke up the space was really cramped I yawned and noticed that that was a human yawn I pulled my self out with human hands I was covered in dirt and I was hungry. my senses were a whole lot sharper I could smell the faint scent of my friends which was over 6 miles away. I could hear them calling for me and I could every spot on a ladybug 12 feet away. so being a were gave me enhanced senses uh? well, I better get going before my friends found me because I could hear the farmer with them. I felt anger at him he was tricking my friends into hunting me down for his own gain. so I took off running and was surprised at how fast I could go. I had barely been running for two minutes before the all sounds of my friends faded behind me. that was surprising with how good my new hearing was. I ran being able to see things long before they were in my way and able to move faster than I thought possible to get out the way of forest creatures. it was amazing I couldn't help but laugh at my new abilities. when I heard a sound a little ways away the vampire language I stopped and listened. hey anna - San why are we put here? asked one vampire because that farmer said he was a were-fox think if we caught one for the master bow much he would reward us. we had vampires surrounding the forest as we speak we have the catch it. it might the the child of the slave that ran away for him when she was pregnant. I wanted to hear but knew I have to get out of this forest I using all my speed raced right pasted them now me new life as a were fox had began .
