Chapter 18 Construction.

I took Anabel to the bathroom… we came back, and I giggled as they dragged Mia to go to the bathroom… I guess they liked the wind dryer that much… I closed my eyes and entered my Orb…

She appaired and hovered over and hugged me… I was a little stunned, but she was smiling proudly at me…

"congratulations… you're the first one that manage to make um… Angel material was it you called it…" she smiled happy at me…

"yee… was that a bad thing?" I looked confused as she was smiling and shining happy at me…

"um… we gods live in a competitive rank system… we live mostly by ourselves but rarely someone go to fight some of the weaker goods like me… the divine community will not assist a lonely god unless there is a mile stone on that planet… or an achievement in the divine history of gods that manage to get one of their people to do something amazing…" Mamma explained at me as I sat in the chair listening confused at her…

"and?" I looked up at her smiling at me…

"well, when you made the metal I was in a power struggle with the darkness god… so imagine our surprise when the entire comity of gods portal over to us… Anyway, he got locked up for attacking another goddess… and my planet is protected now from other gods…" Mamma jumped up and down like a little girl…

"eh… so the fight with the darkness beasts are over?" I looked at her confused…

"no. I will still need help exterminating them… but he will not be able to influence them anymore…" she smiled at me…

"wait you said portal…" I looked at her…

"yes. But that is a divine spell… they are not supposed to be on the planets since no one have figured out how to make them yet… so I cannot give it to you…" she smiled a little sad…

"eh… so how bad is it that the other god gave it to the beasts?" I ask as she leans forward at me…

"you got proof?" she looked at me with wide eyes…

"um… yee actually… it is where I am right now…" I said leaning backwards…

She snapped her finger, and I was tossed out of my Orb… I was sitting there stunned and saw Mia walking back with the twins… I held out my hand for them to stop… Mia held the girls looking puzzled at me…

A portal opened and two big guys came walking out of it with a young woman following behind… I stood up and kneeled down at the ground… I figured they were gods so better safe than sorry…

"you are the one that have evidence of unlawful use of portal on a planet?" a burly guy asked me…

"Yes your holiness." I grabbed the bag that I had hid under my Armor and held it up to him…

"have the god of nature touched this or been near it?" the god asked…

"she have only talked to me inside my Orb as I guarded it on my body until I could warn her about how the darkness beast came to this planet…" I stated to them…

I glanced up and saw the young female god smiling at me… Mamma Nature…

"you are the one that made the new element… Angel metal…" the burly god leaned forward looking at me… I felt an enormous pressure on my body…

"y…yes y…your holiness…" I could barely speak from the immense pressure…

"will you stop… you are going to kill him…" I heard Mamma Nature voice speak up…

"oh sorry… I just wanted a better look at the one that cracked the solution to the metal…" the burly god leaned back…

"thank you for providing evidence for us… you even followed protocol and sealed it…" the burly god smiled at me as he looked in the bag…

"yes. I was afraid that the darkness god was going to hunt me down try to kill me again… so I sealed it and hid it away…" I stated looking at them…

"he target you specifically?" the other slim god asked looking puzzled at me…

"y…yes. Since I am a devote follower of Mother Nature I got targeted by the Darkness god that had sent a huge pack of darkness beast to kill me specifically…

"sorry about this…" the slim god stretched his hand out and touched my head…

It felt like my head was about to exploded as he shifted true my memories… I used all my strength and started to think back to the day the darkness beasts attacked… I could feel that memory got copied over and dragged out… I fell on my hands as he removed his finger…

"I got the evidence… thank you for the help again." The gods smiled to me and opened a portal…

"happy to be of service." I said standing up a little shaky…

"not bad being able to stand after that… have a nice life." The slim god smiled and nod to me as they walked into the portal and disappeared…

I sat down smiling looking up at the ceiling… Mia and the twins came over and looked worried at me…

"brother… that hurt a lot…" Anabel said looking at me with tears in her eyes…

"I am so glad I teach you how to dampen the ability." I said lifting her up and hugged her in my arms as she sulked…

Mia looked worried but lifted Luisa and sat down next to me… I patted and caressed Anabel to comfort her sulking on my shoulder… I folded my wings around me, and she calmed down as it got warmer with my wings holding her… she had her head leaning almost on top of my shoulder… I used my hand and wiped away her tears and kissed her head and smiled at her…

"is it better now…" I smiled down at little Anabel sniffle a little…

I looked over at Mia who was biting her finger looking at me with big eyes… Crap…

"want to see the new metal brother made? it is shiny…" I smile down at her…

Anabel's eyes widen and she smiled nodding to me. I said we had to eat up first… she nodded smiling to me with big eyes…

we finished eating our food and started walking up the stairs… Mia kept looking at me… she had the same eyes as mom gave dad as she looked at me… we got up to the deck and i handed Anabel to Mia and lifted her up… Mia was biting her lip so hard looking at me when we flew that Anabel twitched… Bingo!...

I landed gently and put them down… Mia stroke my arm when I picked up Anabel…

"Anabel… what is wrong?" I said overdramatic to her…

"Mia bite her lip when you were flying… it hurts…" Anabel held her lip…

I looked up at Mia blushing at me trying to hide her lip… I gently took her hand away and looked closer at it to make her understand…

"dear... you must not bite so hard on your lip… Anabel feel the pain when you do…" I said and smiled gentle to her…

"s…sorry Ana…" Mia blushed red like a tomato…

I healed Mia's lip and patted Anabel on the head… Nice save Anabel… I hope she can control herself more now… I giggle as I put Anabel down and smiled to her…

I walked back into the storage and told the twins not to wander inside the storage and not to touch anything and that they had to keep away from the Domes… they nodded and walked to my side and held my hand as we walked… I heard Mia take a photo as we walked inside the storage room…

When I looked back she was almost drooling down at the phone… I sighed and continued walking over to the pile of silver looking bars… I sat down on my knees and the twins sat down on each side…

I closed my eyes and entered my Orb… Mamma Nature was waiting there for me smiling…

"Thank you so much for your help… I got so many compliments off how my people respected other gods and that even if they were in pain they did not complain or get mad…" Mamma hugged me…

"so, I guess things worked out?" I smiled as she leaned back at the desk…

"yes. So, what are you doing going to make?" she smirk towards me like she already knew…

"well, your little halo and wing trick made my family go nuts and now they want the same… so I was going to make a holographic one for my twin sisters and try and make normal ones for Mia…" I giggled at her…

"um… I made the Halo… but the wings was all you child…" Mamma giggled at me…

"eh… so I guess that my suspicion was right… the Mono spell fused the wings to our back when we repaired the ship?" I looked stunned at her…

"yes. Not only that but when it connected to your skin tissue they bonded with your body and soul… basically you kind of evolved to… um… fox angels… angel foxes…" she smiled and started to pounder as looked out into nowhere…

"great… so I guess making wings to my sisters is not the best idea…" I smiled a little sat looking down…

"oh… why not? There is no risk like your thinking of… with the spell of yours Mana Mould… there is no issue with it… and for your other worry… yes they do grow as the person grows." She smiled…

"and I can add age limitation to the flying so they cannot fly to high up and hurt themselves..." I started to think as I opened the display on the monolith desk…

Mamma sat there looking at me working on the new Angel wings spell… I added a 2-meter hight restriction and only hover mode until they turned 8… unless there was an emergency where the user was in danger… for girls I added a slight pink aura and for boys I added light blue aura…

I added a parent authority over them that would allow the parent voice to bring them down to the ground if there was conflict… it would not work if say that mother just wanted to hug and kiss the child… Mamma giggled as I worked on the rules for that…

I added that if the child turned evil that the wings would fade away and be lost but the conditions for that was strict, because children tended to walk true all the faces of emotions and if would be pointless to have the wings fall of because a tantrum… yep… I was thinking of myself when I made that rule… after I was done I leaned back and looked at the spells… one for children and one for adults…

"since you have helped me so much I will grant you the blessing of Halo for all that you consider family." Mama said and winked to me…

"r…really… Thank you Mamma…" I stood up and hugged her in joy…

We talked about how the darkness and that if I found more of those portals I had to destroy them… I asked if I could use them for myself, but she shake her head and said if I wanted them I had to create them myself… She made me promise…

I agreed and she hugged me as we said goodbye… I opened my eyes and saw the twins looking at the little titanium bar with big eyes… I giggled as I made four elven style bracelets out of it… there was vines in a spiral with flowers and cute bunnies décor on it with an elven carvings on the outer frame…

I saw the twins look at them with big eyes as they took shape right in front of them. I put one on each of their hands and there was one childe size and one adult size left… I stood up and walked over to Mia looking puzzled at the twins smiling wide at their arm… she looked at me confused as a gently took her hand and put the adult one on her wrist…

She looked stunned down at the beautiful bracelet as she smiled happy she looked up at me with teary eyes and leaned her head at my chest…

"you like it?" I grabbed a mono stone out of my pocket and put my arms around her…

She smiled nodding at me and kissed me gently on my lips… I cast the adult wing spell on the mono stone and carefully infused it in her back as she kissed me… she leaned back and smiled lovingly to me… I glanced up and saw she had a Halo above her head… she looked confused at me before glancing up…

Her yaw dropped as she noticed the Halo above her head… she looked down on me stunned…

"I talked to Mamma about it and she granted everyone that I considered family the Halo… I only made those for you." I pointed over her shoulder and giggled…

Mia turned around and was a little startled at the golden glowing wings on her back… she stretched her arm back and touched them… she turned back to me with tears running down her cheek smiling at me… Oh No…

She jumped on me and kissed me with passion… I had to gently hold her head still and gave her a little kiss on the nose…

"we are not alone dear" I smirked at her and tilted her head towards the twins that was covering their eyes giggling as they peeked true their fingers…

Mia looked back at me and blushed… she calmed herself down nodding to me… I giggled as I walked back to the two twins that was looking at Mia with big eyes… I kneeled down and gave them a hug holding a two mono stones in my arms…

They just leaned there head up and looked at Mia stretching her wings when I fused there child wing spell to their back… I let go of them and sat back smiling at them still looking in awe at Mia…

Anabel and Luisa had tiny white wings with a little hint of pink on them… they even had a little Halo above their heads and looked so cute… I picked up my phone and took a picture of them pouting at me…

"I want a wings too brother…" Luisa said puffing her cheeks up…

"c…can nyaa also get wings brother?" Anabel asked nervously…

Mia came over and sat down next to me looking at the twins with big eyes as she grabbed my hand hard… she looked like she was about to faint from the cuteness of the two twins looking confused at her…

"now listen carefully… the Halo is from Mamma Nature… she have given this blessing to us for supporting her in her time of need… that is why brother have been away for so long and why brother have to go away later… the wings I have made and gifted to you… but if you do evil they will fall off…" I explained to them…

"okey brother… can nyaa have them now…" Luisa held her arms out with the palms up like she was getting something… Anabel followed her and did the same…

I giggled at the two as I felt Mia holding harder on my arm… I smiled and pointed up at the ceiling… they both looked up and noticed the Halo above there heads… their eyes went big and smiled as they poked at it… they smiled at me with big eyes… I just giggled and pointed behind them…

They looked confused at me but followed where I was pointing with there eyes… they noticed their wings and was a little startled at first, but they realised that they had wings and stretched them out giggling… they started to tickle each other's wings and laughed happy…

Mia was about to break my arm off as she looked at them… at some point she could not contain herself and jumped at them and nuzzled and kissed them as they giggled in her arms… the twins started to tickle Mia's wings as she held them and fell slowly backwards laughing…

I just sat there smiling at them… it was nice to have a joyful moment instead of just having to fight all day… I started to look down at the ground thinking that I did not have that long to be home… it was a little sad knowing that I had to go back to fighting the darkness and miss all the small moments like this… I felt a kiss on each of my cheeks…

"thank you brother…" the twins said at the same time smiling at me…

I smiled and hugged them with a gentle smile on my face… I saw Mia was looking at me with a sad smile… I guess she notice that I was a little bummed out… she stood up and dusted off her clothes…

She walked towards me and helped me up as I was holding the twins… as I was standing there she folded her wings around us smiling as she kissed my nose…

"promise you will come back…" she looked at me worried…

"I promise…" I said smiling to her…

"is it dangerous where brother go?" Luisa asked looking worried at me…

"I am not going to lie… yes… it is dangerous where brother goes… but you don't have to worry about me… Mamma Nature is looking out for brother… so every time you miss me or worry about me just look up at your Halo and know that I am always there for you…" I kiss them on their forehead and smile to them…

They hugged me and I saw Mia glancing up at the Halo looking worried… she noticed me looked down smiling a little bitter with a hint of red cheeks… I leaned forward and kissed her forehead as she hugged and rested her head on my lips… she fixed her posture and took the twins out of my hands and I followed them out… I gave her the last bracelet and told her that it was for Theo…

She smiled as she gave me a kiss and told me to not work all day… I giggled at her and smiled as she walked onboard the carriage with the two kids… I waved at them driving away…

"pink wings…" Jeff said as he walked up next to me smiling…

"you're not getting pink colour on your wings…" I said smirking at him…

He giggled at my comment walking inside the storage… I followed him inside and continued making titanium bars… it was basically just me refilling the Rutile ore and drawing on my blueprint… when I was done I walked over to the guards standing guard at the door and asked if the dry dock was free for me to use… he told me that it was reserved for me and I was free to use it…

I started carrying the titanium bars over and started working on the frame of the ship… the titanium was a lot denser than iron, so it took longer to mould into shape… but it was really light… the frame looked more bowl shaped on the bottom but was still shaped like a ship… it was just more flat on the bottom then a normal ship… it had a spiral staircase leading up to the top and with a big enuf hole in the middle to fly up and down… on the top I had made sleeping section with 24 bedrooms in a circle...

Above there was the frame for the common room and kitchen… it had enuf room so I made one part of it with a bathroom... the bedrooms downstairs had there own toilet and a small shower, but they are not really comfortable… that's why I made bathrooms that had a tub where you could soak your body and relive some stress…

After I got all the framework done I stood there looking at the mess of titanium pillars and the crude shape of a ship… Jeff came to my side looking confused at the design… once I handed him the blueprint he looked stunned up at all the sections with a little smile…

After a while he handed the blueprint back smiling and said it was getting late… I nodded to him and packed the rest of the titanium back in the storage… I refilled my mono stones in my personal storage because I was getting low… Jeff had gathered the rest of the archangels and we flew back to the academy villa…

As I walked inside I saw mom standing there looking firmly at us coming true the door… eh… wonder if she is mad about me giving wings to the twins… she started to walk firmly towards me…

"you leave early in the morning and don't eat breakfast with us… and you come home so late that we had to eat dinner without you…" Mom stood there looking firmly at everyone…

I did not say a word… I glanced over at the archangels who looked like they were children caught out of bed by there mom as they stood silent looking down at the ground nervously…

"mom… you know I have work to do, be glad that I at least came home to sleep…" I just stated to her… yee I was tired and have been working hard…

She walked up to me and lifted me up like I was a little kid… eh… how strong is mom… she held me in her arms, I had my chin resting on her shoulder… I manage to grab a mono stone out of my storage and just held my arms around her resting when she told the archangels to follow her to get some food… her voice was firm like a mother scolding her kids…

She turned around and started to walk towards the common room… I smirked over her shoulders at the archangels following here like they were in trouble. I saw they started to giggle silently when I started to fuse the wings to her back… I made her wings white with a slight golden glow… they were almost the same as mine and Mia's but had some difference in them… I made some of her feathers slightly pink since I knew she loved the colour…

She made a slight cough and the archangels stopped giggling… I was tired so I just let her carry my like a child… and to be honest it felt good being in her arms… her smell was the same as I remembered when I was I kid… and it started to make me feel sleepy…

I had to force myself to stay awake and was yawning as she sat down on the sofa next to Mia… everybody was looking stunned at her as she placed me on her lap and held around me and snuggled me… I just rested in her arms and smiled at her…

"what? Am I not allowed to cuddle with my son without getting weird looks…" She noticed the other was looking shocked at her and she blushed a little and fixed her posture…

"mom… they are just looking at your beautiful wings…" I stated to her and giggled as she looked confused at me…

She turned her head and looked at her wings that was slightly unfolded from her back… she had moved them without knowing… she was smiling at me when she looked back at me with her blue eyes… crap…

Before I could say anything she had started kissing my cheeks and nuzzled my nose like she used to do when I was 1-year-old… I was giggling like crazy because it tickled like crazy… after I was out of breath she stopped… but was holding me tighter I her arms… yee I had a habit of bolting away when she loosened her grip… she smiled down at me as I was resting my head in her arm… still tired after working all day…

"so… when am I going to get a grandchild?" she smirked down at me…

The entire room got silent… I glanced over at Mia turning red and was shrinking down next to us…

"mom… are you really telling me to have a child now knowing that I have to go in less then a month and will not be back for years… your telling me to not be able to watch my son or daughter grow up and will not meet them until they are at least 5 or 6 years old…" I looked firmly at her…

I saw she stopped smiling and lowered her head… she looked ashamed… that is the first time I have ever seen my mom ashamed… dad walked over and sat down next to her and held her hand…

"don't be angry son… you know how your mother always wants the best for you… I just thing she haven't thought of that angle before…" Dad smiled a little explaining it to me…

"I am not mad… I… I want to be there for my kids the way you two have been for me… and I don't think it would be fair for Mia to get all the responsibility alone…" I explained as I sat up and smile gently at them…

"I am sorry Mia… I was clouded in lust for grandchildren and didn't see the whole picture… please forgive me…" Mom looked at her ashamed…

"it…it's fine…" Mia said blushing…

Dad picked me up and smiled at me… I grabbed a mono stone as I hugged him… he looked confused but just hugged me back… he rarely hugged me in public… and I had asked him about it, and he told me that it was because of how his father had raised him… apparently they had a view that Men should not show feelings… but he would often just carry me in public when I was a kid… and only hug me when if only mom was there or if I was alone… and yes… he is just as baby sick as mom… he just don't show it…

After I fused his wings with the same style as mom... people was steering at us… dad fixed his posture blushing a little thinking it was because he gave me a hug… I giggle to him and nodded to his back… he glanced over and saw he had wings… he stood up looking confused at them… he almost dropped me but managed to fumble me back in his arms… he stood there stretching his wings for a while… he finely sat back down smiling at me… Eh… just like mom, he could not contain how he felt and nuzzled and kissed my cheeks… I was exhausted when he finely stopped…

Nana came walking inside holding Theo… she hushed at us as she was comforting Theo… she looked at Mom and Dad stunned…

"what is wrong with Theo? Is he sick?" I asked and jumped down from dads lap…

"no, he is just sulking because he did not get wings…" Nana said giggling at me…

"oh… is that all…" I giggled and gestured her to put him down…

She sat Theo down at the ground and I kneeled down in front of him…

"did you like the bracelet I made for you?" I said as I looked down at his wrist…

"it is nyaice… thank you…" Theo said a little sulky but bowed gently towards me…

He was so cute as he stood there trying to be polite and smile still feeling sad about the wings… I secretly got a mono stone and gave him a hug and infused children wings on his back… he hugged me back and I lifted him on my lap and looked at him…

"remember that having wings means that you must be good and listen to your mom… and if you turn evil they will fall off… are you sure you can handle that responsibility?" I giggle at him…

He nodded at me looking worried… I just smiled and giggled at him and placed him in front of me after I stole another hug…

He stood there holding his palms together looking at me… he looked so cute with his white wings that had a slight blue shine to them and was looking at me with big eyes… as I was smiling at him I saw I had used to long admiring his wings that he was starting to lower his hands and looking a bit sad…

"you already have your wings… don't be sad. I was just admiring how nice they look." I used my hand to gently lift his chin up and smiled gently at him…

He turned his head and noticed he had wings… he was walking around in circle trying to grab them… I lifted him back on my lap and saw he was smiling at me happy…

"you will learn how to use them in time… I was not able to grant you the wings at the same time as my sisters since I was stuck at work… so I hope you can forgive me for being late…" I said pretending to be sad…

"n…no it nyot a problem… um… how is it going at work?" he asked as he hugged me… aww he is to cute and caring…

I thanked him for asking and explained that it was hard making the frame for the work and described it to him as he sat on my lap listening excited as I explained what I was working on… I noticed he had tired eyes, so I turned over to the more boring aspect and stood up and folded my wings around us… I walked gently around holding him in my arms as I talked to him… it took a little while, but he finely fell asleep in my arms…

I walked over to Nana who had sat down at a chair and was looking at me with loving eyes… I handed Theo over in her arms and pulled out a mono stone and made a hush sign to her… walked to her back and gave her white with a golden outline and a silver glow… she looked stunned at her wings as I walked back in front of her…

"thank you child." She whispered and kissed my cheek with a loving smile…

I am so glad she was holding Theo, or I would get assaulted with a bombardments of hugs and kisses… she was smiling as she walked out of the room… I turned around and was going to sit down to eat…

Lisa was standing there smiling at me… I just sighed and gave her a pair of golden wings… she hugged me happily and said she would borrow my wife… she hurried over to Mia and dragged her by the arm towards the front door…

Frida was going to say something to them, but they were already gone… I just walked up to her and hugged her… and said she could probably go and watch them if she was worried… I was about to say that she could train her wings… but Paul had grabbed me and hugged me… he looked at his back and saw he had not gotten wings… I had to explain that I needed to cast a spell with a mono stone first… he nodded and hugged me again… I tried to grab a mono stone but every time I reached for it he hugged me…

"will you stop hugging him and let him get done with it, so he be able to eat…" Frida scolded him…

He stopped giving me hugs and nodded to me… I guess I found the origin of huggers… I gave him wings and Frida stopped him from hugging me again… she stole the hug…

They walked outside and I was finely at the dinner table… Mom came over and tapped my shoulder... I saw she was smiling at me with Charles and April next to her… I nodded as I understood she wanted to go out flying with dad and them…

I gave Charles white and golden wings, and he gave me a hug smiling… April walked over a little shyly as I was searching my pocket for a new mono stone… my pocket was out…

"it is okey… I can wait…" April said looking a little sad…

I shake my head and opened my storage spell and retrieved a new batch of stones… she looked stunned at me…

"I will not have my mother wingless." I smiled gently to her…

"it is mother-in-law…" she said stunned…

"A mom is a mom." I giggled and hugged her…

She was a little stunned, but she finely relaxed and hugged me back… I was done giving her the same golden wings as Charles, but she was still hugging me…

"um…" I said confused…

"just give me a moment to give my Son in law a hug… thank you for being kind to my daughter…" April whispered hugging me…

"mom… just call me son… and don't be so formal… you can get a hug anytime that you want from me…" I said giggling to her…

"okey son." She smiled and nodded at me before she kissed my forehead…

I was a little stunned but smiled at her… she seemed more relaxed now… mom was smiling gentle at me as they walked outside… I saw Mitch and Molly sat in the sofa talking… so I just snuck over and gave them white wings with Silver glow without them noticing… I returned back to the dining table and asked them if they are not going out to fly… they glanced confused at me but smiled happy and thanked me when they noticed they gotten wings to… now it was just me and the Archangels left…

"so… what is it…" the Archangels looked at me…

I explained the event I had with Mamma Nature to them and let them know the evil god would not be launching or controlling the beasts at us… and our new mission was to find the portal stones and destroy them…

"the other gods arrested the darkness god…" Vicky asked me stunned…

"yes… we have out this month to get ready… we have been given a good opportunity to wipe out the Darkness once and for all." I said looking at them…

"so… we are finely getting back out there again…" Jeff smiled at me…

"yes. Sorry for cutting our stay short… but it is the best time to hit the darkness while they are in disarray…" I explained a little worried to them…

As I looked around the table I saw them smiling at me… I was worried that they would complain about getting back out to the fight after only staying home for a short time… I sat there ready to address the complaints as I was eating food… they talked among themselves looking happy… they seemed happy to be able to get back out into the fight… I really have battle addicts…

They asked when we would get back out and I replied that I would work on the new ship for a month to make sure we could handle the long war… we finished food and was just chatting like normal when people came walking back inside chatting happy about the experience of flying in the air…

April had walked up to me and gave me a hug from behind thanking me for the wings again… everybody sat down and chatted calmly in the warmth of the fireplace for the rest of the night… Mia had sat down next to me in the sofa and mom had packed us in a little blanket…
