The Ruined Earth

September 1945 Japan. Nearly one month passed since Hiroshima was ruined there was a small village near Akasaki there lived a small blacksmith's family. The day when nuclear bomb exploded blacksmith Jun and his wife went to sell their swords and kinves in Hiroshima but they never came back the young boy Shota and his younger brother Hinata and elder sister Mai waited until sunset. Mai asked neighbors but no one gave answer when she came to knew her parents were no more she was broken but still she decided to go to another city to get job. She left responsibility of Hinata to Shota.

after 10 days Neighbor came with cops and said Mai was murdered for money Shota was shocked to hear this, young Hinata was so small he didn't understood anything and cried for mama and papa. Shota and Hinata were sent to an orphanage where they were bullied a lot so they ran from orphanage. They had no shelter to sleep nor food to eat Shota begged all day and brought food for young Hinata.

One night a snake bite Hinata Shota took him to everywhere where he could get help by morning Hinata was dead. Shota cried out loud hearing his screams a fisherman came and found a boy sitting near riverbank holding his younger brother's corpse fisherman asked his name and took Shota with him they buried Hinata behind a shrine near river.
