The tall man turned from the French windows and looked at his assistant.

"What is it this time?"

"Sir the old madam wants to see you."

"Okay. It's that's all you can leave."

Aaron bowed and scurried away immediately.

Alexander sighed and rubbed his aching forehead with his hands.

These past few years he had been suffering from insomnia.

Every night he climbed to his bed to sleep he'll wake up from that same nightmare.

He just couldn't bear it anymore.

His phone rang.

*ring ring ring*

He answered the call immediately.

"What is it?"

The other person on the phone rolled his eyes.

"Drop that your serious voice I have something juicy for you?"

"Hmm.speak."

"Avery will be coming back next week."

There was silence for a few seconds before the man responded.

"So? How's that my business?"

"Alex, are you nuts? She's your woman. how is it not your business?"

"Mark we ended our relationship a long time ago. I don't have anything to do with that woman again."

"No fu*King way. I thought you guys were just having a normal fight and refused to talk to each other. Alex what happened that year."

"...."

"Alex?"

"Mark I have other things to do. If there's nothing else I'll hang up now."

"No, hold on."

"Sorry for bringing up the past."

"It's been a long you joined us for a drink. Matt came back last week and he's been clamoring to see you...coincidentally, we're throwing him a small welcome party. Why don't you come and have a few drinks with us?"

When Alexander heard Matthew's name he clenched his fists in anger. He hadn't seen his best friend matt since the night he ended his relationship with Avery.

Just when Avery was planning to come back next week, Matthew was already back.

He sneered.

"Sure. I'll be there. Send me the location and time."

Inside a hotel room in the suburbs of sea city metropolis.

The sound of a man's grunts and a woman's moans were very prominent.

The two people were very shameless as they rolled around the bed naked.
