Chapter 17:- Veronica Faith Wild (P.O.V)

"He is Doctor Rio, my family doctor. He is here to treat you and he won't say to a single soul about treating you." I just nodded my head and in return he gave me a small smile. He came near my bed and started examining my wounds which were over my face, arms, ribs, back and legs. It took him around an hour for him to examine me and then he prescribed me medicines. He said that I have to rest for a week for which I just nodded silently.

After he left, Billy and Johnathan came into my room again. "Do you want anything? Wait, I think you didn't have anything in the meal so I will just quickly run to a nearby mall and bring something for us to eat. And, just like that both of them ended up staying the night at my house and taking care of me. I insisted they go home as their parents will be worried, for which they again ignored me. I gave up because it was pointless to make them understand something which they don't want to hear.
