[Bonus chapter] Promise Me

Adonis had not let me go from the moment forensics flooded our chambers after he pressed the panic button. I was still in a state of shock from everything that had happened that I could not speak. 

Whilst Adonis was gone I asked Rosalia to help me take Blue and Rain over to my parents since Maria, Iris and I were going to have lunch with them. She had forgotten to take one of their pacifiers and blankets so I offered to get them for her since I needed to get my phone which I had forgotten. 

When I entered our chambers and saw the white envelope on the bed I thought Adonis had left a letter for me. He always left a note for me when he left just like how he did in the beginning of our relationship. When I opened it and read it I thought it was just a prank.
