Playing against Dortmund

The next few games were pretty boring I will just tell them in a fast way.

The direct next game was against Athen which we won 3:0, I didn't make any scorer points in that match.

The game after we played against Mainz I shot the 2:1 with a finesse in a 1vs1 against the goalkeeper.

The game after that was the second round of the DFB-Pokal. We played against fourth-division side SV Rödinghause. We won the game 2:1 with a complete B-team. I didn't play in that game and wasn't even in the squad.

The game after that was against Freiburg. I had a bad day. Didn't make any outstanding performances and we lost 2:1.

The game after that was the 4th game of the group stage. It was against Athen, which we won by 4:0. I was back in form and made an assist and a goal.

Now comes the next game. It will be against our biggest rival Borussia Dortmund. 

Dortmund is a strange thing with Bayern. They should be a hard opponent, but the last 6 matches were all won by Bayern with the last win being a 6:0 last year.

This will continue in the following years. Dortmund never really won high or dominant against Bayern for a long time in a direct confrontation.

The game started of course as the Match of the week.

(Solo)

"Today we will witness a match that hopefully no one will ever be tired of "Der Klassiker""( just German translated el classico. Very simple but the Germans like it.)

"Both teams will start with their usual squads."

What I want to add to this is that this should be a hard match, because they have Akanji, Hakimi, Reus, Götze(Goetze), and Jaden Sancho in the squad. But hey had two problems. They were playing like a mess and didn't have a real striker. Their striker was literally Götze.

Dortmund used a 4-2-3-1 a more sharper formation than the 5-4-1. They had a pretty similar formation as we had, but we will probably be the team with the better overall tactics.

"Now the Game begins. Dortmund in yellow-black from right to left and Bayern in red with the kickoff."

"Bayern seems to be playing more of a possession football and Dortmund defensive counterattack."

"This will give the team who is in better form today the advantage. If Bayern is in good form and has good efficiency, they will probably take the lead. If Dortmund is in good form and makes good defense and counterattacks they will probably take the lead and hold it. My guess will be a small victory for Bayern by what I have seen so far. The Bavarian team seems to be in pretty good form today."

"Meyer with a chip over Dortmund's defense. Lewandowski is there. HE HEADS! CROSSBAR! The aluminum denies Bayern the lead. Huge chance for Bayern in the 31st minute. This goal could have broken the deadlock and make the game more interesting for neutral viewers."

"The corner kick right after by Meyer. A question I have to hand to the statistics is, do only I think like that or does it seem like the young Meyer is taking more and more corners?"

"I have the same feeling Frank", the other commentator replied with the same thinking as the first one.

"Good Corner. Hitz(GK) punches it out of the penalty area. Coman stands there and shoots. Hitz is still not up. AKANJI. He saves the ball from hitting the goal with his body. The scene isn't cleared yet. Another try from Müller? No, Zagadou(CB) clears the ball.

The ball goes up front. There is no one! Where are the Bayern defenders?! Meyer quickly taking up to Götze sprinting. It seems Meyer noticed early that there was a major mistake in the defense. Götze gets the ball first due to a huge advantage of distance. Meyer is coming fast from behind. It seems like he will catch up. Yes, he shovels the ball with a classic Lahm tackle into the sidelines. What a beautiful tackle from him."

"Yes, I agree. We mustn't forget his outstanding defensive capabilities", the other commentator quickly added a comment."

Nothing outstanding happened anymore and it soon was half time.

The beginning of the second half was similar to the beginning of the first half. No too big chances. Only some semi-counterattacks from Dortmund and a few half-hearted tries from us.

In the 74th minute, it was time for the first goal of the match. One thing I can tell you. It was my assist. Well, not really that much worth of an assist.

"Meyer probably trying to pass to Lewandowski. NO. He passes the ball to his other foot, deflecting the ball to Kimmich. Kimmich shoots. He shot. WHAT A GOAL. An absolute stunner of Kimmich. From a distance of about 25 meters into the goal. First, we need to talk about the assist. This is a famous stunt Henry once used. He pretended to pass the ball to Lewandowski but positioned his other foot in a way that would reflect the ball to Kimmich on the side. This pass made place for to shoot this absolutely stunning goal from out of nowhere."

"Beautiful"

The next chapter will probably be tomorrow and will be mostly a slice-of-life with Isa.

I tried to skip a few unimportant matches. Don't worry it wont happen often.
