Me or De Ligt?

Today on the 2nd of December the Ballon Dor ceremony is taking place in Paris.

I am only favourite in one category. That is the Kopa trophy. Even though I am nominated for the Ballon Dor. But I will probably only have 0 points or 1 or 2. 

But it looks differently for the Kopa Trophy. I could win it with just 16. But there are some major problems in it. I am on against De Ligt who was Captain of Ajax, who reached the semi-finals in the Champions League. 

We arrived at a luxury apartment in the center of Paris. Paris is a sight to behold. It is a really beautiful city. I was one of the few people who came here alone. I was arranged to sit besides Mbappe again. There was also De Ligt and Arnold here. We talked together again. We got to be pretty good friends over the year. 

Soon everything started. 

The Kopa trophy didn't wait long and the points were announced. 

It was a close call. The winner had only a 4 points difference to the second with the first having 59 and the second 55 votes. It was already sure that it would be either me or De Ligt.

In the end someone would go on with the trophy and someone would leave without anything.

The spokesperson announced it.

"The winner of this years Kopa trophy is..."

"Ajax Amsterdams captain, who led them to the semi-finals De Ligt."

I was saddened but still happy for De Ligt. I hugged him and he went onto the stage to thank everyone for supporting him and all these kind of things.

I wasn't too sad as I was sure to win the trophy or even more next year.

After that there were the rest of the ceremony with one controversial theme. Messi won the Ballon Dor and not Van Dijk.

Even though Barcelona was kicked out in the semi-finals by Liverpool.

After everything ended everyone flew or drove back home. 

Robert Lewandowski was voted to 8th place. He placed pretty decently but didn't win anything major. 

After going home we started training again.

There were still 5 matches in the remaining calendar year. 4 being in the Bundesliga and the last one being against Tottenham.

We were training and everything. I streamed the first time in a long time again and explained my long break a bit. And told them that there would be very few streams next. 

Some people already thought about me being Meyer due to the breaks and Isa and everything, but that was only a small conspiracy theory.
