First starting experience
Today I will have my first starter. It doesn't come from anywhere as I have performed very well as a joker. In the first game against Schweinfurt, I assisted the 2:1 while only playing 20 minutes. Something other to note is that our coach Tim Walter now trains me to the right-back position. I will probably convert mid-season.
In the next game against the relegation team VFB Eichstätt, I scored one and assisted one while playing 30 minutes. The better the performance the more I could play.
The next game against Pipinsried another relegation team I wasn't in the squad as I had a cold, but we still won 1:4.
After that, we played against Augsburg II. I couldn't find my form again and didn't score or assist while playing 30 minutes.
After that, we played against Nuremberg II. I only played twenty minutes, but scored two goals. One being a wonderful solo to make it 3:3. Through that we drew against them.
In the next game, I was lucky. We played against a weak Bayreuth, but our main winger was injured. Due to this, I was subbed on in the 28th minute. I made two goals and three assists being in perfect form shortly after my birthday. Yes, I was now 15 years old. In the end, we won 6:0.
Our main winger was injured for two weeks. This means I will be the new starting winger.
And my debut will be today against Memmingen. I once played against them in a cup. I still remember.
Now I will play against their first team in my semi-professional debut.
We will be playing in Memmingen. It will be a very boring game as Memmingen is a very defensive team. In simpler terms. They park the bus. We tried to combinate our way through, but couldn't many times.
Soon I had an idea. I talked with Lars the IV some of you might remember from the youth World Cup and Wriedt, our striker. Of course, I also talked with the coach about some tactics I was allowed to use on my own. Me and Wriedt switched places and Lars told the others what I planned.
A brute tactic. It was brute, but the most effective against them.
They should let Memmingen advance more onto our half and shoot long passes as far as possible. With my speed the defenders couldn't catch up.
This of course seldom worked, but it finally worked after a long time. One of the IVs made a big clearance and I sprinted to the ball, I was only moments faster than the enemy left back and overtook the player by sprinting off the sidelines and running in again. Now I cut in again and nobody could stop me with my speed. Especially not the semi-professional or amateur players. I had an easy job making a Henry classic finesse onto the lower left corner of the goal.
We rubbed it into Memmingens faces with our celebrations. They played not bad, but nobody liked that style of play. But I couldn't complain. Due to that I was the hero of the team as Memmingen didnt have a strong offensive and wasn't able to score in the last few minutes.
