First real test in the new season

Today we will play against Mainz. We should win this game as Mainz isn't a top team. But the team after is. They won the DFB-Pokal in the last season. They are Leipzig. 

But first of all, we need to focus on the game today.

Mainz should be won today and we will win it. Thats what everyone is thinking. We will win all games. That is the thing that made Bayern stand out 19/20. I mean many teams reached the peak of football, but Bayern had a special mentality that made them stand out from them. They lost almost zero games under Hansi Flicks coaching and won every game. Literally every game. No draw. In the Champions league.

We started playing like the previous games and started to have our first chances. Me, Coman, Müller, Gnabry and Lewandowski were a deadly attack. Everyone could either shoot goals or assist and this often.

I saw that the defenders were very focused on me during this match. After I saw Kimmich getting the ball, I faked going through the left path to create space for Lewandowski.

It worked. The defenders were unconsciously following me a bit more and this created space for Lewandowski. Kimmich saw this and passed the ball to him.

Lewandowski didn't think twice and shot the ball into the goal.

We led 1:0.

After that we had a corner kick. I was now the main corner kick taker of the team. I suddenly had a pretty interesting idea. 

As I was extremely proficient in both legs I could easily make a good cross. Instead of doing that I crossed with the outer instep to let the ball get a huge arc. The ball did exactly that. The goalkeeper wanted to rush out, but was surprised by the arc. The ball landed in the goal. 

I celebrated while sliding on my knees. There was a huge factor of luck in that goal. Like the wind. That the goalkeeper rushed out and some other things. Still it was a beautiful goal. I didn't shy away from thinking like this.

That was the 2:0. With this we went into halftime. 

After the second half started we had quite a few chances but only one made it into the net.

It was a goal I wasn't involved in. Gnabry made a few dribblings and passed a player. After bringing in a sharp pass to Müller, Müller shot and made it 3:0.

The game didn't have any goals after that and we won it with 3:0.

After the game we started training and preparing for the game against Leipzig.

We had our first Champions League game in this season a few days after that game.

It felt like nothing and we soon played against Leipzig.

Leipzig had a good start into the season and won all of their first 3 games. But we did also and were 1st place the whole time due to goal difference.

We did the same as usual and started our offensive machine again.

The shortcoming of this tactic was of course our defense.

Leipzig used this and made the first goal of this match. After a counterattack. Poulsen and Werner. Their two strikers made the 1:0.

But the reason why Bayern was this successful in my previous life despite this shortcoming was their way too overpowered offensive.

We started doing that and made the equalizer soon after. 

We started pressing them. Me and Coman switched sides for a short moment. I ran past Davies who had the ball and was in front of a defender. Davies passed the ball to me and I made a short pass to Coman in the middle who just tapped the ball in. It was 1:1.

I had a good feeling on my feet today. 

Still in the first half I retracted to get the ball and saw Gnabry accelerating. I made a high altitude pass to him. He catched it and was running towards Leipzigs goalkeeper. Gnabry won this duel and made it 1:2 for us. 

Till halftime nothing happened anymore.

After halftime Alaba made a crazy long range shot to make it 1:3. I was lucky and gained a free assist as I passed the ball to Alaba before.

With that we won 1:3 against Leipzig and led the Bundesliga standings with 4 wins.

Now we were preparing for our first Champions League match of the season.

It was against Red Star Belgrad. A team with very violent Ultras.
