Brothers

Soon Wang Ming and Peng Tong arrived at a bar at the FengZhong market. The clock was about 7pm which meant that it were the time for people to get drinks after work.

Peng Tong assumed that Wang Ming had little money, so he didn't take him to an upscale bar. Though what Peng Tong forgot was, this is a bar for couples, which made Wang Ming and Peng Tong feel awkward, but Peng Tong wasn't a man that cared about what people thought.

Going to the back of the bar, they saw there were lots of couples, both drinking and chatting. The bar played romantic songs in the background, some couples even kissed during the steamy parts of the songs. While pushing Wang Ming's wheelchair towards the table, Wang Ming and Peng Tong got some curious and mocking looks.

Seating Wang Ming on the other side of the table, then Peng Tong sat down on the sofa.

"Server, please give us five bottles of baijiu!" Which cost Wang Ming around 250 yuan, a cheap price considering the location. It was a fairly expensive price for Wang Ming's wallet, but nothing Wang Ming couldn't handle. Since Peng Tong had helped him, it was just right that Wang Ming did this for him.

When the server put down the bottles and walked away, Wang Ming could see a disgusted look in her eyes. He could even hear her murmuring. Two gay disgusting pigs, I need to wash my eyes. Wang Ming felt disrespected, but didn't bother to stoop as low as her. Even if he confronted the server, she could just deny everything. He didn't care if you like men or women. What's important is how you are as a person.

Pouring himself and Peng Tong a glass, Wang Ming told Peng Tong. "Since you helped me today, I consider you a brother. I know it's sudden, but I feel a connection between us, I almost feel like we are actual brothers. Will you drink three glasses with me and then become brothers in life and death?"

"Are you serious? Do you think a poor guy like you can become a brother with me? I was just being nice. We are from two different worlds. I'm rich and have an influential position, but you? Nothing." Peng Tong laughed at Wang Ming's face.

Hearing his words, Wang Ming became angry, then looked away to drink the wine. He didn't think Peng Tong was a person like that he had judged him totally wrong. Though Wang Ming had seen how he treated his underlings and the people in the market, Peng Tong was always kind and respectful and wouldn't discriminate against anybody. But now, since he had seen Peng Tong's true face, he felt relieved they didn't become brothers.

Sighing, Wang Ming grabbed the glass to take a big sip of wine, but before his mouth could touch the glass. Peng Tong grabbed his arm with a broad smile on his face. Wang Ming didn't know why he seemed so happy, but the next words he said explained everything.

"Hahaha, I'm sorry, Brother Ming. I'm a playful person, so sometimes I go a bit too far with my jokes. I meant nothing, I just said. I'm the same as you, even though we've only known each other for a short while. I feel like I've known you for ages and I just know you are a good person. And such a righteous person like you would be a perfect brother for me! Of course, since we are brothers, give me lots of free food!"

Seeing his cocky smile, Wang Ming wanted to punch him in the face, but he also felt happy and couldn't help to smile back at Peng Tong. Peng Tong was like a little brother he never had.

"You! I thought I had misjudged you. Now lets drink after three glasses. We will be brothers for life. I don't hope that we were born on the same day, but I hope we will die on the same day!"

"Ok, I hope we will be brothers for life. But the one that gets drunk first will be the little brother. So don't hold back today." Wang Ming didn't feel like drinking today since work and the fight fatigued his body, but Peng Tong's words ignited his fire. No way he would be the little brother.

Though unlucky for Peng Tong as not only had Wang Ming's strength gotten stronger but also his organs. His alcohol tolerance and how fast he can process the toxic substances from the alcohol are just a lot faster than what Peng Tong's body can do.

That didn't mean that he couldn't get drunk, but at this stage, he was at least three to five times more durable than an average person. After drinking three glasses, each Wang Ming noticed Peng Tong's face already turned red and couldn't help but tease him.

"Are you really ok? You are red already after three glasses. Just to let you know I at least drink 3 bottles."

Peng Tong's face reddened, but he didn't want to give in, so he puffed his chest up and said.

"I usually drink at least five bottles. Three bottles of 45%? Nothing. I never get drunk the more I drink, the clearer my head becomes."

Wang Ming and Peng Tong kept drinking and drinking, it went from one empty bottle on the table to five then ten. Wang Ming was feeling woozy after five bottles, but the alcohol had knocked Peng Tong out cold after the fifth bottle. He started talking gibberish while laying his head at the table.

Seeing how drunk Peng Tong was, Wang Ming stopped drinking and tried to find Peng Tong's phone to call someone to get him. But searching his pockets, Wang Ming found nothing, so he had to ask the server for a phone instead.

While Wang Ming was waiting for the Taxi, with Peng Tong, he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Wang Ming had to put him in his wheelchair and wheel them both away, which made him even more embarrassed. Peng Tong was sitting in an ambiguous position with his bum directly in Wang Ming's lap while he hugged his neck.

He even started begging Wang Ming to teach him about relationships and how to woo a woman. He didn't know why Peng Tong would ask him about it. Since he had never dated a girl before, but seeing him like this, Wang Ming entertained him and answered him as anybody would.

"Try to be nice to her, give her attention. Be thoughtful, listen, and be attentive. Really try to understand and listen to what she is saying when you talk with her. Then remember to act on what you hear and say, if you promise her something then hold that promise, if she likes flowers then surprise her with flowers. Be a gentleman."

Wang Ming didn't even know where he got his dating tips from, as he didn't have a lot of experience in dating. But the more he talked, the more he thought about what he said makes sense. But before they could talk more, the taxi arrived. Rolling his wheelchair out with Peng Tong in his lap, Wang Ming once again saw the same looks at him. But this time he glared menacingly back at them, which caught the couples off guard. Some of them even trembled seeing Wang Ming's eyes.

Coming out of the bar, the taxi driver hurriedly ran up to him and grabbed Peng Tong with one arm and put him gently in the taxi. The taxi driver offered to lift him into the taxi also, but he denied. Wang Ming doesn't like other people thinking of him as a handicap and needs any special treatment. Lifting himself from the wheelchair onto the taxi, Wang Ming then folded his wheelchair and put it in front of his legs, then told the cap driver to find a hotel.

On the way home, Peng Tong kept talking to Wang Ming, asking him for more tips to flirt with women. So he kept telling him what he had told earlier, Peng Tong was too drunk to even listen. But then Wang Ming heard the loud sounds of the car breaking and a scream.

The seatbelt dug deep into his chest which hurt him, Peng Tong also screamed and woke up. "I'm sorry, Sir, it looks like someone is trying to scam us by jumping out on the roads. Let me take care of this."

The taxi driver then opened his car door and walked out, Wang Ming thought he wanted to negotiate but realized something else happened when he heard screaming outside the taxi, since it was dark out Wang Ming couldn't see anything so he opened the door to see what was happening.
