Chapter 30

Aurora's POV

"Why are you still here?" Ronin asks angrily and I gape.

"Ronin... I can't just go back."

"You don't have a choice. I'm kicking you out." I gasp.

I had just told Ronin about Wes and the whole situation and he can't help but insist that I go after him.

"You can't do that." I raise an eyebrow at him and he crosses his arms.

"Alright fine. But I really think you should be going after him." He says and I roll my eyes.

"No. He made it clear that he was done."

"It was the hurt talking!" Ronin yells and I want to bang my head on the table. "Aurora, this man has done so much for you, the least you could do is fight for him."

When he put it like that...

"I don't even know where he is."

"Don't worry." Ronin winks. "I've got money."

Eyeing the plain white door that stood in front of me, I left and returned about four times now.

I was about to leave again when it swung open.

"Can you tell me why you keep visiting my door?" Wes snaps sounding annoyed and I gape.
