Aurora's POV

2 years later.

Wes never called. Neither did he come to look for me. I have to admit I miss Thomas. A lot.

But I assume that they're happy since Wes is now engaged. You heard me right. It's all over the news, even here in England. I'm not going to lie and say it doesn't affect me but I'm glad he's happy.

I live with Ronin and our bond is stronger than ever. I work as a personal assistant and I honestly never tried dating again. It didn't feel right.

"What's on your mind?" Ronin speaks up, fixing his tie.

"Oh, nothing." I smile and he raises an eyebrow.

"I'm not stupid." He says and I roll my eyes.

"I'll tell you later." He seems satisfied as he stretches out his arm.

"Ready?" I nod.

Did I mention Ronin was the owner of the company?

Tonight he was hosting a masquerade ball at his business place and of course, I had to be there. He demanded even though I told him I didn't want to come.
