Deskmate (ch.5)

Sfter finishing their long conversation, the sun was already set.

A few hours later, Mikaela prepared for school.

After preparing her bag, the maid came to fetch her belongings, placing it into a stainless steel art piece like sofa.

Even though the two of them were the only ones left, their wealth only continued to grow.

Thanks to his older brother who works hard. Going back and forth inspecting every single branches they own.

Another maid began to place different types of dishes.

Newly baked muffins, Caviar, Lobster frittata boiled to perfection and alot more.

Her brother was the first one to arrive at the dinning room, waiting for his sister.

"Good morning brother~" She smiled.

"Good morning" He replied.

She glanced at the maid who brought her bag and gave her thanks.

The butler then pulled her chair, assisting her to be sitted.

The maid placed a napkin on her lap.

The siblings talk once again while eating their brunch.

Even though Mikaela's wealthy, she prefered to keep things simple. Also because she hated unnecessary attention.

After all her efforts trying to adjust to enter a normal high school, she finally succeeded.

Ever since junior high, her classmates never knew who she really was.

She was a normal student, with a normal appearance and grades.

(She wears black wigs and contact lenses.)

Even thought her cold personality can't be avoided.

Her classmates still treated her as an equal.

A few students did attempt to follow her back home, but failed miserably.

Their home looks normal at first glance, like a typical modern house.

But behind it was a large and spacious mansion.

It was designed by her brother to protect her.

Although this mansion was not the main one.

It is used by Mikaela in order to finish her school smoothly.

Since the place was only a few blocks away from her school.

After finishing their meal, Mikaela stood proceeded to walk towards the maid. She then placed the bag behind her.

"Thanks, Laura." She said.

*Clack *Clack

Running towards the door, she stopped.

Looking back at her extravagant brother.

"I'll be taking my leave now, brother." She gently smiled.

She finally went outside.

Her brother stopped in a short moment, putting his dinner knife beside his plate.

He smiled.

The main maid Laura looked at Harvey and said.

"She's as jolly as ever." She smiled.

"Yeah" He replied.

Back to Mikaela..

It was their second period already, but her deskmate was still sleeping.

But that didn't bother Mikaela, she listened to her classes like any other student.

After finishing the period, it was already lunch time.

Mikaela went to the cafeteria to eat.

But before that, she attempted to wake her deskmate out of kindness.

Her classmates left already.

Only the two of them were left inside.

She leaned closer and patted his back.

"Hey, wake up. It's already lunch time." She said.

But the guy didn't move at all.

After that, she immediately gave up.

'There's kimchi today, i'll leave this guy here.' she thought.

Kimchi was her favorite dish, even though she usually had caviar.

She led out a deep sigh and scratched her neck.

But suddenly, a large shadow covered hers.

*Crack

"That was a good nap" Stretching his broad shoulders he stood.

Mikaela looked back only to see her deskmates wide chest.

He leaned closer and said..

"Thanks for waking me up."

She looked back at front and walk towards the door.

"Yeah no problem." She sternly replied.

He smiled and fixed his hair.
