"Hey Ashera we should get moving, better get ready for we ought to present next. You don't want us be cramming right there in front, do you?" Heilta babbled, rushing towards her laptop. Which was placed just right next to Ashera's seat.
"Yeah, right. Just go easy with that device of yours, it must've cursed you already if only it could speak. Still plenty of time, relax you are just a paranoid." 'She is indeed a paranoid type of person', Ashera thought.
"Dude, I know what you are thinking but it ain't so bad to be prepared, y'know." Heilta then clipped, securing her laptop between her body and right arm, whilst abruptly grabbing her friend by the arm — utilizing her left hand with what force she got.
Ashera was hesitant and literally disinclined to any activity. Yet, she didn't have the time to resist he friend, for Heilta already made her rise from her seat through a forceful grabbing — more like dragging her off the seat. "C'mon, quit making me do whatever you want, Heilta. I ain't yer puppet, aye." Thus, Heilta gave Ashera a look of disgust.
"Nah, you quit that silly accent of yours, it is torture to my ear for Pete's sake, Ashera." Ashera opened her mouth beckoning Heilta for a piece of her mind — her oppositions — only to swallow it all back as the other members of their team interrupted the not so typical conversation she was exchanging with Heilta. "Nice timing, people." She sarcastically pointed out.
Ashera moved stiffly from where she was lying down as she slowly adjusted her visions, around her. Last minute, she was standing with her friend — Heilta and her members, on the verge of preparation for their college project presentation. Then suddenly, everything went dark before her sight. "Where am I? What is this place, it looks so out of this world."
With all confusion, Ashera wandered her sight around her and found herself settled in a cozy, majestic white decorated bed in the middle of a paradise.
She was not exaggerating when she regarded the place as a paradise, considering that her surrounding was full of blooming flowers of different variety — dandelions, dafodills, dasies, morning glories, orchids, roses, tulips, and more flowers she could not name. — And, a high rampaging water down the long lining of the running river below. From the waterfalls that was situated right above the hill with full of climbing and clinging vines, a few distance away from her. Not to mention the overwhelming castling view she behold from where she was.
Beneath, was a wide visual of towering and huge houses, she supposed. But were made to be of noble built. Plus, that gigantic castle that was almost a level of she has no idea how high. Mayhap, about hundreds of meters in height. It was settled over a massive parabolic hill.
"Alright, this is all insane. Nothing makes sense, at all. Am I possibly be dreaming?" Ashera slowly got up from where she was and tried to take a step when she suddenly felt so lightweight and almost floating. "Oh shoot! This is madness, what is this place? Come on!" She slumped back down the bed due to the sudden disturbance of equilibrium.
"I need to get up. I need to stop this improbable series of events. There's nothing fun with this just whole nonsense. I can't even feel my feet touching the ground." She reacted uttered whilst starting to get emotional.
Especially, when she took not a waste of a second looking down at her bare stepping and caught a sight of her feet. "No! This is not happening. How could I possibly be floating? Ah! This doesn't feel right. Too much that I can't even fathom the eeriness of this binge situation, such rubbish. Heavens—"
Tears fell from her breathtaking emerald green eyes — which was highlighted with black outer circle and hell knows what death stare it gives off as her eyes were centered with a spooky yet tempting bold-black, tiny alluring circles — down to her red and flustered cheeks. Soon, her heart started to beat a lot abnormally.
"Here we go again, feeling all scaredy-cat." Ashera wanted to curse herself for her incapability to withstand the situation. "Think Ashera, think. Use that clever mind of yours now." She nagged to herself. "Shit, I can't think of anything, proper!"
Ashera was scared and that's for real. However, she mustered her strength to pull herself together, trying to take a step. But then, all of the luck she had abandoned her long minutes ago as her attempt for a step ended to be a big fat fault.
"Ah!" She fell hundreds of meters in what seemed to be a quick motion blur. As audible as it was, torturing whirl with a sound of a swish of the passing wind was mixed together with the dashing of the waterfalls, tends to have deafened Ashera.
"Darn it, I can't possibly be dying right here, right now. What the hell was I thinking? I hadn't a clue about how this place works and yet I acted all recklessly." Ashera wanted to punch her dumb self in irritation.
"I can not possibly be dying now. This is not how I imagined my end would be. Oh heavens have mercy on me, hear my yearning and plead me this once, save me from this insanity!" She exclaimed.
Ashera cried her lungs out for help, clenching her fists tightly as she closed her eyes whilst tears drifting away with her fall. "Is this really it?" Hope was fading out her system causing her inability to think of how else would she help herself out in such blasted place.
Tumultuous rushing of an unknown occurrence echoed in Ashera's ears. "Oh god, this is it. Is this really the end of me? It is implausible for me to understand the turn of events. However, I will have this grudge towards how unfair things are to me, deep down to my grave."
She's nowhere to be certain whether she's still scared or just having a piss of her current situation. She could have said goodbye to her family and friends, but of no luck.
As seconds passed by, Ashera could no longer feel the tension of her falling rather than the peaceful sound of the surrounding. Which was all tweeting of the birds, rushing sound of the falls and soothing touch of the wind. "How sarcastic, feels like I have already entered the paradise of heaven. Did not expect I would be accepted here by how evil I acted. Pretty sure hell will throw me out of its domain if it sense a bit of my presence." She managed to joke around.
Ashera could not withstand to be humoured by how things turned out for her. Such fate she has gone through.
"Goddamn woman, you are frenzied of a mind. How long do you plan to stay on my hold, huh? You are starting to get heavy. Move your ass up."
Suddenly, everything came to Ashera's senses. She's no longer falling but of the hands of a man with deep toned yet alluring one of a voice. They were floating in the air.
Flabbergasted, Ashera sluggishly opened her eyes and could not believe what face was looking down on her. She felt her system burning up much more than she thought her face was turning extremely red.
'What a sight it is to embrace', she thought.
Holding her was a man of angelic face and good physique who arbors an appealing aura. He was glaring at her intensely that even her soul could feel it piercing through. "Mister, you saved me! Hah, for a moment I truly begged heavens to have mercy on me. Thank goodness you came to save me!"
Ashera could not help her tears from falling down because of the joy she felt. "I just escaped death, all thanks to you." Ashera uttered with full gratitude.
Aside from the embarrassment she felt, she can not hide how grateful she was that she was saved and has not scattered her blood, bones, and guts all over the place. It would've been a filthy sight to see.
"Don't let it get in your head dummy. This ain't no fantasy. So, if you don't mind moving your ass up and going back to where you were earlier, it would be much appreciated. What do you say?" The man raised one of his dark and thick eyebrow, still his foxy crimson eyes intensely glaring on her.
"Oh right, I would really love to. However, this is a total stranger to me. Not to mention that I do not acquire the knowledge to pace this offbeat place. So, if you do not mind teaching or perhaps simply bringing me back to where I was, that would be much appreciated." She snapped at him.
Ashera challenged the man by glaring back at him with the same intensity. Which, took her all might to do so, knowing that the man's stare was of a heebie-jeebie. Pretty sure she saw a glimpse of shock — more like disbelief flashed in his eyes.
"Looks like humans had made you a foul speaker." He uttered in a low yet soft tone.
Ashera couldn't possibly heard it clearly, so did she. "What, did you say something?"
Instead of answering her, with the same tumultuous rush from earlier, the man flew back up the shed over the floating piece of an island. Yes, it was floating. And, in no time Ashera found herself back up the place.
Ashera just noticed that the shed, where, the cozy bed she laid low was settled over a massive flat rock with healthy green grasses on top of it. Plus, the water that falls from both side of the floating island bought her curiosity, running mazes of mazes in her mind 'what-source-made-these-things-possible?'
To her shock, the man dropped her abruptly in the bed. "Hey, that hurts! Where are your manners? Is that how you treat a lady?" She babbled pissed off at the back of the man, grabbing his long cape.
It was then that she realized how noble the man was clothed. Like the total similarity of those prince charming from Snow White or perhaps Sleeping Beauty or rather Cinderella, but clearly the man in front of her is nowhere close to such prince charming. "And what's up with this costume of yours? Are we in some Disney movie or something?"
The man turned to face her with his eyebrows meeting each other, showing his irritation to her utterance of such sarcasm. Without a word, he grabbed her hands and pinned her down the bed. Which, made their position real awkward. She had her hands gripped above her head, enclosed in his strong hand as he leaned close to her with an unknown expression. "I wish to hear no words from that half-baked mouth of yours, young lady. One utterance would cost you great price, perhaps." As he ended his statement, he inched closer to her and made his grip more tightening.
However, Ashera heed none of his words rather of one thing he had said. It replayed on her head over and over again. She tried to move away from him but of no luck. "Half-baked you say? How dare you!" She yelled at his face.
It didn't satisfy Ashera, so she garnered all her strength and freed her right hand from the man's grip. What follows next was a loud thud from the meeting of her palm and his flustered cheek. The man let out no word.
However, he once again grabbed her hands together and pinned above her head, but it was done in a more threatening manner. She could see that the man was truly indignant of her —slapping him— that she can even feel his grip even tighter and that his eyes were all raged.
"What, you think I am scared of you? Even if you saved me, which I am grateful of, I see all of these as a flapdoodle, bugger!" With that, the man above Ashera, who was just a couple inches closer to touching her, claimed her lips to an extent.
She's kicking her feet below him, trying to get away from him but it only made the man claim her mouth more keenly and more daringly. She was lost. Lost to the sensation it brought to her system as though he was claiming her and owning her. He's tasting, licking and biting her lips real torridly. She lost her might to resist and rather closed her eyes, feeling his lips on hers.
Moments later, she found herself gasping for air with him. "Sweet, looks to me you enjoyed it as much as I did." He mockingly said. Which made Ashera realize how much of a shame she had caused herself.
Embarrassment taken over Ashera, and so she blamed herself for not withstanding the temptation. It was flighty of her to respond to such a feeling the man, who was a stranger to her, had made her feel more than she ever longed. "Now, if you do not mind shutting up, I will now continue my interrupted rest." The man edged away from her.
Before he begone from her side, he patted her in a gentle manner. Although, she still was out of words for what just happened. Ashera could feel something inside her, butterflies constellating on her stomach, heart fluttering so much that it felt like it skipped a beat with his tender yet daring touch. Seems like her brain had stopped functioning.
On the other hand, the man paced just a distance away from the bed where Ashera was and settled down on a long couch, resting his six foot – four inches tall and well built body real comfortably. Ashera just noticed that aside from a bed, there was also a long couch settled up in the shed, she's surfacing at the moment.
Well, she was rather preoccupied the whole time to pay attention to stuff. Despite the unwanted happenings, still she could not withhold her curiosity.
She raised her voice for him to hear what she was about to say. "Hey, what is your name? What is this place? Why am I here?" She waited for an answer but none came.
"Who are you?" She shouted.
She caught the man move his head in her direction and with a swift move, she found herself at the top of him in the couch, embraced — more like securely enclosed in his arms. Sure, she wasn't small enough to be called tiny, for she stood 5 foot – 4 inches tall. However, with the way the man was enshrouding her, she couldn't feel more little than she ever felt.
"Shut up already and let me rest, for god's sake woman." He uttered in a pissed tone, while having his eyes closed.
"Alright, enough of this already. I have had enough, you can keep your name, blighter. Get away from me!" Ashera had enough of what he was doing. He simply do whatever he wants to do to her at his own will, so does it made Ashera feel truly uncomfortable. From saving her, calling her half-baked mouthed, kissing her without permission, and now embracing her in such position, she's full of it.
In a blink of an eye, the man had placed her back in the bed. "Well, in case you are wondering about the name of the man you kissed back so tenderly, Wraven it is." He whispered in her ear teasing it with husky voice, lips occationally touching her earlobe, before settling back to the couch and continuing his rest. Leaving Ashera flabbergastingly hobbled.
