John opened the lid and saw that there was only one left. He pulled it out and put it between his lips before lighting it. Hazy smoke flowed out of his mouth as he murmured.
"I don't feel like thanking you right now."
Ethan sucked on the filter of the cigarette as he glanced at John. He didn't look like he'd gone to the office today. Ever a conservative guy, he always wore a suit whenever he went to work. However, right now, he was wearing a knitted sweater, cotton pants, and a camel-colored coat. He recalled how Lily had said that Rong Ming was waiting as she urged John to go.
"Looks like you didn't go to work today."
John didn't answer the question and merely puffed on his cigarette. Ethan couldn't believe he wasn't even responding when he had given him his last cigarette. Just as he was starting to feel disgusted by his behavior, John spoke up in a gruff voice.
"I'm getting married."
"I know."
"Are you coming?"
