The Sword

A glint broke through to my vision and in the right corner I saw a sword, it was clearly a dagger for how small it was but I wielded it perfectly, 'Haha! I am the flame swordswoman!' My mind was being silly after what happened. Once I was done being stupid, I slipped through some cracks to escape the room.

Everything was darker now, I thought for a second that it had been a day but something was off. I can feel time in some ways, but now it was so silent. "BANG!" Everything looked like watercolor, then blowing away, leaving light. It's obvious I'm unconscious.

I woke up in a cave, it was lush with life where vines hung and some luminescent salamanders skittered back into the water. I still had my dagger and threw it at one, hitting it straight in the heart. 'Now that's some real FIREpower.. Hehe.' I pulled the knife out and burnt up the critter, awfully hard judging that it was covering in water.

I saw something that I actually recognized, it was dark-red, some parts black. When put my gaze on it, the odd vines shot at me. Everything looked like water again. 'I see! This is what I was brought here for, but who put me here for it?' A quick jump to the left got it stuck in the rock below so it couldn't move. I chucked my dagger below at it, it hit and another vine sprouted in my direction. I already was falling so it wasn't like I could just magically move to the side. Or could I? I blasted all my fire to the front of me and I zipped everywhere like a balloon airing out. I flew faster than I ever thought I could.

I hit the cave wall and jumped on a vine, the fruit on it glowed already so it looked natural, not saying that I know the vines can see anyways..
