The even more startling discovery

Once more, I awoke from my dreams. I dreamed of Grandpa this time, but he didn't look the same. Despite my confusion, I chose to disregard it since, as my mother often says, dreams often speak in parables. I dreamed that I saw him being driven from somewhere. He was with a woman who was very pregnant. I chose to hold off on asking him to clarify my dream, even though I assumed the woman was Grandma. I received a call from an unknown number a few hours later.

"There's no need to respond; all I can say is, beware of the man posing as your grandfather. He's a liar, descended from the Water family, and he was only trying to establish who the chosen one was. The man on the line advised her to leave her home before the next day and to act as though she was gone when her husband arrived.

"Whom?" Before I could even ask him again, the man hung up the phone, despite what I had said. I decided to notify my mother right away because I was getting scared. "Mum, Mom, Mom!" I cried out, but nobody responded. I started crying and pleading with Chizou's tribe's gods. I prayed over and over, but nothing changed. Mom wasn't even answering her calls when I called her line. I started to wonder what had occurred, and then I realized. It was Tuesday, so she was obviously at work today. That realization gave me a sigh of relief, and I turned back to my bed. I was expecting something interesting to happen today, and in fact, something strangely interesting did. I was curious about Grandpa Zouzou's past, and now I'm being told he's a spy and a fake.

Mom called, "Darling, darling."

I see that you're back, mom. Yes. Saying "welcome," I turned to face her.

"What kept you away from school today? Mom said, 'Your instructor called.

"I assumed you were aware of it; well, I had anticipated a positive outcome, but as you say, fate has its own agenda. I received a call today from someone who said, "The man claiming to be grandpa." The stranger interrupted me as I was telling my mother.

"Hello my love, How are things going for you? What topic are you discussing? Who made the call?" I was barraged with questions by the man.

"What are you doing in my room, and it's none of your business? I yelled, "This is my privacy; you can't be in my room today just because you claim to be my grandfather." I yelled at him. Mom gave me a shocked look as he silently left. She requested me to explain everything after the man left, so I went over everything in detail with her. She simultaneously got cautious and afraid. Entering the living room, we pretended that everything was OK. We could see, though, from the man's look that something was off; I could even see drops of sweat running down his cheek.

"Do you find this AC to be too hot?" I questioned the man with suspicion.

The man answered, "Oh no. Hmm. I mean, no, it's not; I guess I walked too far."

"All right, grandfather I asked, "Could you tell me about the history of Chizou's tribe and how they banished you?"

"Oh no, there's a lot to say, but not right ". He said

"Grandpa, why not now?" I questioned.

"Well, I must depart. My time is probably up. The man responded, "I'll be here earlier tomorrow so we can talk about you visiting Chizou's tribe tomorrow.

"Okay, grandpa," I said, putting a firm embrace around him and grinning. He hurried out, I guessed sending shivers down his spine.

"What was the purpose of that? Mom remarked, "Someone is falling in love with Grandpa," and we exchanged a good giggle.

"We are leaving in this place, right?" I asked worriedly. "Yes, dear, we are. Pack the most important things; we will be going to your dad's place," mom said. "Dad!" I was surprised. "Pack your things, Helen, and we will leave once it's 9 p.m.," mom responded. We both packed no more than one suitcase each and sat in the living room waiting for 9 p.m.
