Fight for the throne (THE MORNING STAR 一揽子清单)

Lucy wasn't that good at cooking but she tried preparing the most simple dish she could.

After preparing the kids, Zack called up his sister informing her not to go over to pick up the kids as he already dropped Michael at school and Lucy agreed to take care of the twins throughout the day, so he gave her a day off. He then requested to drop her at home but Lucy disagreed giving the excuse that he may not be pleased with the environment, he persisted but gave up after much pleading from her for him to go back.

Lucy didn't want Zack to know where she lived because it might bring an end to her game.

After dropping her off Lucy made sure he drove away before calling her driver to pick her up.

immediately after she arrived home two maids rushed towards her and carried both babies from her, Lucy ran into the house in search of her mother

"mummy" she screamed and made her way to the kitchen

"mum" she hugged her from behind giving her a peck on her cheek

"my baby" her mum turned and hugged her

"How are you? And I can see you didn't have enough sleep huh?"

"mum am okay"

"where were you and ...." she was cut off by the two maids who brought the twins in

"Lucy who's kids are they" Lucy sighed seeing her mum's expression

"mum they are the kids of my boss's sister, I stayed with them throughout the night and..."

"so your boss turned you into a babysitter doesn't he know that you're a princess huh?" she kept complaining and Lucy got tired of hearing her complains

"mum I'm going to my room okay you both take care of my babies "she instructed and left.

Alicia was already tired of trying to convince Lucy to stop working. she doesn't just get it when she tries explaining it to her, and worst of all she doesn't listen to her uncle

'this girl is just too stubborn ' she said to herself and carried Lucy's food to her room

"Yes sir, they are resting and have sent the presentation to your Gmail " Lucy reported everything to Zack unknown to her that her mum was behind. Alicia knew very well if she asked Lucy to give her the phone so she can talk to her boss she would refuse, so she kept quiet and left the room after feeding Lucy

Lucy, who was already so tired slept off after eating and showering.

Her mother then took the opportunity to collect Zacks's number from Lucy's phone' Although Lucy decided to work she still needed to be treated as the princess that she is and not overworked ' she thought to herself

After collecting the number she left Lucy's room and immediately made a call to Lucian Lucy's uncle telling him about her plans and decision. Lucian on the other end of the phone thought of it as a good idea and gave it a go-ahead, but he didn't want to create any troubles so he decided not to attend the meeting.

Zack was going through some important documents when he received a call from an unknown number he decided to ignore it at first but when the person persisted he then picked it up

" Zack here"

"Hello I'm Mrs. Alicia Lucy's mum"

"good day ma how may I help you" Zack was getting irritated unknown to Alicia this was why he never allowed his workers to come to his place for work, cause their families would end up calling and thanking him for giving their child a day off and try sweet talking him to come for dinner which is so unprofessional.

But what he heard shocked him, Lucy's mum didn't thank him but instead, she requested to meet him at a very popular villa in the east.

Zack was a bit surprised because from what he knew about Lucy she can hardly afford a proper apartment talk more of staying in a villa

" I hope you honor my request and my princess doesn't get to know about this meet-up between the both of us," she said and ended the call

"What guts, "Zack said and the phone rang again, he picked it up thinking it was Lucy's mum but instead it was Michael

"Uncle please send aunt Lucy's number quickly"

"why?"

"hmm, I want her to come to pick me up please, please don't refuse"

"Okay," Zack said and sent Lucy's number to little Michael
