The first rays of sunlight begin to dawn on the horizon, tinting the blue sky with a warm yellow light, greeting the world on a new day.

~Ga-Ga-Ga~ (animal sound)

A figure perches on the branch of a tree, casting its shadow over a young man in his early twenties who rests pleasantly, a goofy grin on his face.

(He is wearing sweatpants and a dark green tank top, barefoot to enjoy the lightness.)

Although the weather is tropical, the mornings are still cool, and the creature wonders how the human can sleep so comfortably without any worries.

The sound of dawn causes the youngster to stir, making it clear that it is still alive.

"Mmm?" 'Why is the sun shining on my face?'

The protection of the tree's foliage barely hinders the indiscriminate attacks of the sun's golden glow.

"Turn off the light!" the young man shouts.

~ shhh ~ (sound of sea waves) The scent begins to flood the young man's nostrils, disorienting and confusing him.

'Why does my back hurt, I need to buy another mattress!'

He squirms in discomfort, thinking about the cold as he tries to find the blankets groping around him on what is supposed to be a bed. 'What is this, dirt?' he thinks as he tries to grab whatever is within reach with his hands.

At the same time the creature begins to doubt whether you are sober or sane. This has always been his home and he hasn't seen any humans in a long time, in fact, he's never seen any before, only knowing them through the stories of his family, who described them as monkeys in clothes.

Seeing that the human posed no danger to him, he advances with confidence and curiosity...and pecks you in the face. "Hey!"

You open your eyes sleepily and indignantly. "What was that!" as you become accustomed to the ambient light you begin to discern whatever it was that woke you up, you find yourself face to face with a seagull. You blink in confusion. 'Am I still asleep?' The bird tilts its head, confused. You do the same....

Suddenly, you realize your situation your eyes widen.

"Holy shit!" you exclaim, startled, as you jump to your feet.

~Craaaa!~ The seagull flaps its wings and flutters away startled.

You turn your head and exclaim, "Where the hell am I?!!"
