Chapter 66 Ghost

As he waited for the confession to end, Sun Jack watched the murals around the church.

It was then that he spotted a familiar face, the infant previously saved by the priest from the Graffiti Gang.

The child clumsily rounded the corner from afar, swinging its limbs as it approached.

Seeing the little one fall and unable to get up, Sun Jack was about to help when he saw someone dressed as a nun lift the child into her arms.

As the nun turned her head, Sun Jack was startled to realize that she was actually a robot, a mechanical nun.

The steel-cast nun, carrying the child with metal prosthetic limbs, passed by a painting on the wall, which depicted the Virgin Mary nursing her child in a Gothic cathedral.

Drawn in involuntarily, Sun Jack followed, arriving at an orphanage in the church's backyard, where several mechanical nuns were tending to children of varying sizes.
