Hunting a bear. 3

During the morning I grabbed my bow and arrow and left the house once again .

Since I had more than 15 arrows left I started to hunt and kill some weaker animals to get myself ready for my big hunt.

After killing 3 boars I started to exited because a pack of wolf started to surround the area.

Before anyone of them could get close I shot one of them with an arrow killing it instantly.

Instead of getting scared the rest of the wolves became more agitated.

They ran towards me with the intent to devour my body and not a single bone behind .

I could see it in their eyes but that didn't stop me from shooting three more leaving just one who was actually a lot smaller than the other four .

After killing more than 50 wild animals I had a wild killing intent that anyone could feel when I was prepared to end them and this smaller wolf felt it .

Grrrrrr !!!

It growled at them than ran off .

The wolf probably thought that I was not going to chase it and turned around.

Boo !!!

I appeared right behind it and grabbed it by its neck than killed it .

In the past I wasn't this cruel but I learn a lot about hunting .

Like what if I kill the bear and I'm terribly injured wouldn't the wolf come back and kill me .

This was not something I wanted to test so the wolf had to die.

Even though I was becoming more cruel I treated my family with care and respect .

Rhea told me to remain this way and not to let myself be influenced by Ares and Athena in the future.

She didn't want me to become a God of war because those who do have to many enemies and are constantly being watched by the fates.

After thinking about what Rhea used to tell me in the past I found a red furred bear heading inside of the cave of Mount Zas where my uncle Zeus grew up from .

I threw a small pebble into the cave than hid in a small bush .

Grrrrraaaaa !!!

The bear roared once but it didn't come out until I threw more rocks .

Grrrrrraaaaa !!!

It ran towards me at full speed which was very frightening to me since I've only faced smaller predators.

I dropped my bow all because I was frightened which made me feel ashamed of myself .

When the bear got close to me it pushed me really hard on the ground causing me to cry out in pain .

Since I didn't have my bow in my hand I took a dagger that Rhea gave me 3 days ago to stabb the neck of the bear multiple times .

Even though it was bleeding terribly the bear tried to crush my head with its paws but I dodged it's man killing attack.

Cough Cough Cough !!!

* I spit out some blood *

Shit...this is not going well.

The bear charged at me once again and it succeeded at pushing me back against a giant boulder.

Ahhhhhhhh !!!

I broke more than 3 ribs and my right arm had a giant bloody scar near my helbow .

Cough Cough !!!

A strange power erupted from my body than it suddenly started to hail around the area where I was trying to kill the bear .

I looked at the bear who had its left paw in the air and saw it moving extremely slow .

Seeing this amazing thing happening I quickly moved out of the way than stabbed the heart of the bear and sliced it's throat .

Clang , clang , Swish !!!

The sound of my dagger piercing the flesh of bear echoed than everything returned to normal and I became extremely exhausted.

It took me 5 hours to wake up from this weird experience.

Other than that I checked my body for wounds and I was happy to see that I was fully recovered even though I had some small scars all over my chest and right arm.

Right before I returned home I skinned the bear , kept its fur , some of its meat , than I grabbed some grapes near the cave .

I wanted to explore the cave but I needed to see my grandmother and ask her about my new ability first .

When I returned home I gave Dionysus his grapes than ignored the little guy since I really wanted answers .

I entered the house and told Dionysus to wait outside.

Titus what's going on and what's with these scars ?

" Grandma something strange happend to me while I was hunting a bear ? "

" Right before the bear could kill me it started to rain than everything around me and the bear became extremely slow and I managed to kill the bear but I was extremely exhausted in the end . "

Titus from now on spent most of your time hunting animals , bandits, and monsters in the next few years because you will be going to mount Olympus with someone that will love you just as much as I do.

Oh yes....Your talking about about your divine energy that some mortal mages call mana.

Titus our divine energy is pure , unique , and allows us to use our divinities unlike mortals who can only cast spells .

In the end you can choose to call it whatever you want because only your status as a god matters in the end and the mortals will know the difference on their own .
