The water was cold as I immersed my body deep in the lake whose water felt ice cold. A shiver ran through my body as I relaxed and welcomed that crispy feeling that felt so refreshing. I wanted to wash away all the dirt. Not just the dirty from earlier but also the lies I was living.

 I wanted it all to go away with each swift move my body made under water my sister's face flashed before my eyes. The words Jeena always told me circulated in my head that I couldn't take it as I quickly moved towards the surface of the water and gasped for air as I floated below. I moved my arms and legs through the water and proceeded to the shore. I was done and since it was late, I had to go back and rest knowing there was a lot for me to do

I left the water wiping my face so I could see properly. The sky was bright and the moon was out as it shone illuminating the entire place I was completely nude as I took my time to get to my clothes
