Alexander shook his head and went to the front row,he didn't want to be here if not for his grandmother who wanted a necklace that's been auctioned here.
"Hey, handsome"he looked at his side and saw the woman Damian has pushed away in a bar,he frowned wondering why she was here.
"Yes"he said emanating a aura that said he wants to be alone, the lady was good with signs and had noticed it since the beginning but had chose to ignore it.
"I just need a favor. Your friend is a really tough guy who didn't fall for my charm. I want you to tell me some tips i would need"she sat on the chair kept for Elizabeth.
"If you need some tips,am not his only friend. Can you leave,i don't keep companies"he said harshly.

The girl in the restroom was checking her hair in the mirror when the door of the restroom opened, not paying attention to it, she continued with what she was doing. She stylishly looked through the mirror to see who the person was, when she saw the lady, she raised her head in cockiness.
Elizabeth smirked at her reaction, she wasn't here to confront her but to show her that she's not someone to mess with, the girl before her looked like a someone from an high-class family, she was like a girl who was still in college.
"Are you here to bully me or what"the girl said. "You can't threatened me because my family will....."
"Shhhh..... I didn't remember saying anything or is it that you're scared of me"Elizabeth said raising a brow at the girl.
"Don't think because you're with My Alex, you'll take him away. I've never seen him with any woman neither has he taken a liking into any person so don't think he's yours"Elizabeth was silent hearing the girl come back, she had never expected a girl this young could have such a sharp mouth. The girl smirked upon seeing her expression, she passed by her and was about to walk out.
"Atleast,i got to be closer to him."that didn't stop the girl from walking out, although she stopped for a moment, she sneered,then walked away.
What a brat!
Few minutes later, Elizabeth walked out to see a woman walking away from her boss, she walked towards him and sat down at her saved spot as the auction began.
The speaker came out holding a microphone"Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome and thank you for coming. We have a special guest today, Mr Donovan, thank you for finding time to come here. Can we get this auction started?"soon the place was filled up with people especially couples.
The first bidding of the first exhibit started,it was a brooch. It was one of the owner's collections. According to the introduction,it once belonged to Queen Christina. If bought, the person will have to come and collect it after the event.
"Do you like it?"Elizabeth who wasn't interested in all these biddings heard a whispher from her side, it was her boss. Bored, she answered"Yes".
"Five thousand dollars"the men who were trying to get it for their ladies immediately kept quiet as the hall became silent.
Elizabeth was suprised"Going once, going twice and the necklace goes to Mr Donovan.".
Alexander kept a straight face, he looked at Elizabeth who had a face fulled of shock. Even though,he knew what he did,he still asked her"What's wrong?"
"You just spent five thousand dollars on a brooch".
"But you said you like it".
"Yes,a girl of course loves jeweleries,that doesn't mean i wanted you to buy it"this man loves to spend money unlike a normal girl like her who saves money.
"Take it as payment for coming here"he said, she couldn't refute his answer. Throughout the biddings, she didn't say a word, the speaker announced that it was time for a break, Elizabeth stood up as her butt was already hurting from sitting too much so she excused herself and went to the restroom. Another person who saw her leave immediately stood up and followed suite.
Alexander who noticed it became suspicious,he wanted to go and check on her but if she needs help, she'll give him a call. right. He didn't know why but his heart hurts anytime he thinks of her getting hurt.
