64) A battle between two Kings*Bonus Chapter*

While the Knights of the Round Table and Neos Argonauts were fighting with each other with everything they had got, it wasn't their battle that was going to decide who would be the winning side, but rather the result of the battle fought above them between the two Artoria Pendragons was the main deciding factor.

Goddess Rhongomyniad being mounted on top of her white Horse, used her Divine Lance to manifest several attacks of Golden Light which she shot at her other self, Artoria quickly nullified them with her Rohongomyniad making the former's eyes narrower. " I see, you have it as well", she said in a calm voice, Artoria looked at her with a bloodthirsty gaze.

Artoria quickly silently chanted a 7th Tier Spell, ' Chain Dragon Lightning ', which shot a Dragon-shaped lightning towards the Goddess Rhongomyniad, It was one of the most destructive spells she had under her arsenal. The latter's eyes became wary as she used the Holy lance to erect a powerful Barrier around her to protect her, which succeeded in nullifying Artoria's attack.

But that was just the beginning, as Artoria shot another Chain Dragon Lightning, with another 7th Tier Spell,' Napalm Blast ', and another 7th Tier Spell, ' Scorching Flame Wave ', and she had used Maximized Enhancement on all of them raising their power to fullest. Such an attack can destroy her previous self back in London Singularity even with her full powers easily, yet they barely managed to create cracks in the shield of the Goddess Rhongomyniad who was slightly surprised by such an outcome.

Yes, she wasn't at her full Strength as of now, manifesting only as a Divine Spirit yet her strength was no joke, and despite the fact that the barrier ability of Rhongomyniad was very limited in her current form, it was strong enough to protect the entire Holy City from the aftermath of the attack between her and Poseidon's Meteroite Strike. It could do more, and at her full power, even Ozymandias would find it difficult to barely scratch her barrier with his strongest attacks.

Still, she paid it no heed and her face returned to normal and she quickly used her Divine Lance to attack Artoria with her Divine Lance manifesting several stripes of white shining in a Golden light shooting towards the Artoria, who quickly used Triplet Chain Lightning to counter them.

For a moment the battle seemed to be at a stalemate, as both the parties kept attacking each other with attacks that kept nullifying each other's but it was only for a short moment. Goddess Rhongomyniad decided to end her other self in close quarters and commanded her horse to gallop forward.

Then approaching Artoria at a speed faster than sound by several times, she thrust forward her Holy Lance with the intent to impale through her black armor, but Artoria who had already used Several spells to boost her prowess, easily parried it with her Holy Lance with such force that made Goddess Rhongomyniad's hands numb for a moment.

Seeing the chance she quickly Thrusted her Lance at her, but the Lord of the Ends of the World used her Divine authority to escape the attack by briefly teleporting away appearing hundreds of meters away. It annoyed Artoria to find herself losing such a good opportunity to bring the latter down in one move. She quickly summoned about nine 7th Tier Angels, to assist her.

The moment the Dominion Authorities were summoned a slight fragrance appeared in the air, they bathed in the bluish-white light as if the world itself was welcoming these Holy beings. They quickly assembled together in a formation and shot fully powered Holy smites which had the prowess of an 8th Tier spell, and being shot by several Angels it had reached the power of a 9th Tier Spell.

Alas, the enemy they were dealing with was a Goddess, and she dispelled these attacks at a moment's notice as if they were within her jurisdiction. Artoria was unfazed by the casual display of power by Goddess Rhongomyniad, as she had expected this to happen. The only reason she had summoned this Angel was to play the role of a distraction.

They did their job as they charged at Goddess Rhongomyniad at near the speed of sound, which further increased as they cast Holy spells on themselves. Goddess Rhongomyniad quickly shot several beams of golden lights at them, but they were easily blocked and nullified by the Golden Mace they held in their hands.

Just as Goddess Rhongomyniad was immune to their Holy attacks due to being a Divine being, the Angels were also immune to weak and moderate attacks from her, making them a great summon to distract her and keep her busy. Meanwhile, Artoria quickly unleashed the full power of her Noble Phantasm and shot it at her the Goddess who was busy dealing with the Angels in close combat.

The Dominion Authorities quickly moved away from the core of the attack shot by Artoria, to them their lives mattered little as long as they could achieve their master's goal, and the only reason they moved away from Artoria was to not hinder her attack. The last thing Goddess Rhongomyniad saw was a purplish-black tornado that moved toward her before it engulfed her entire being. The surrounding Angels weren't spared as well, as they too were engulfed and killed by the Lance that shines at the end of the World.

Artoria looked at the scene with nervousness, wondering if she had managed to kill or at least injured the Lion King, Alas her expectations were shattered as she saw a completely unharmed Goddess Rhongomyniad without a single scratch on top of her white horse. An expression of disbelief formed on her face as she asked," How?".

Lion King looked at her other self and said," We both have received protection from the Ends of the World itself, the rank of mine is way higher than yours, other than that I have full control of the Holy Lance and I am God ruling over the authority of the end of the world as well, you cannot hurt me with the attacks from Rhongomyniad or of the same nature".

Artoria became silent, her other self in front of her was extremely strong, more than she had expected, to think that her trump card was completely useless in front of her was unexpected to her. She gritted her teeth in frustration, while the Lion King said," Let's stop this meaningless war, we both are the same person, even if we are different. I ask of you once more, to work with me to save humanity, even your servants are invited by me to join in my noble cause".

Artoria snorted and said," I am not the leader of Neos Argonauts for your information", hearing her words, Goddess Rhongomyniad glanced at the Poseidon floating in the sky observing their battle and said," It's him? That other Divine being right? You do not have to worry about it then, I will defeat him and then you can join me with the other willing servants".

Artoria glared at her and said," To join you? Not even in my dream I will betray my Liege, so give up on that pesky try of persuading me, faker", her words made Goddess Rhongomyniad give up the hope of making her other self, join her. In the end, she had no choice but to battle herself to save humanity, even if she didn't like it.

Goddess Rhongomyniad glanced downwards seeing her knights at a big disadvantage not to mention the presence of another Divine Being watching her made her uneasy, she didn't want to spend much time dealing with her other self since it would put her at an disadvantage, she glanced at Artoria with a scrutinizing gaze and decided to put an end to the battle.

She said," Well, I guess we can't agree with each other, then let's end it now", her words made Artoria shudder as she understood well the implications of her other self, and just like she had predicted, Goddess Rhongomyniad started chanting," I've expanded the land, built cities, crossed the ocean, and split the heavens. All for... what...? Holy Lance, tell me of the end! 'Rhongomyniad' !".

As she chanted the Holy Lance in her hand shined brightly in golden colour. She aimed it at her other self, who quickly used a defensive spell, after another to protect herself even if it seemed to be futile. A huge cone of Golden light manifested in front of her, and then she shot it at her other self. It was the strongest attack that she could manifest as of now, it was the Divine Judgement.

Artoria couldn't escape the attack, and neither teleporting would be of any help other than prolonging her life. In the end, she would just waste the mana of her Liege and decided it would be better if she faced the attack head-on. It was stupid of her, yet this is just how she is, loyal to Poseidon and unwilling to put any burden on him, She thought it would have been better for her to die if she couldn't stand against such attack.

The attack hit her piercing through all the shields, and the sky shined brightly, so brightly that it momentarily blinded all the human soldiers and even the servants battling below, Once the skies became clear they looked above to see who was the winner of the clash between the two kings. Only Goddess Rhongomyniad remained above them, on top of her white horse while any presence of Artoria was absent.

It was clear, that the Goddess Rhongomyniad had won the battle. Her knights erupted in a cheer as they saw the outcome of the battle, but things were far from over.

" May my Wrath tear through your filthy souls", said Poseidon in a cold voice, as the beams of light started raining down on the Human armies led by the Knights of the Round Table.

The battle tilted on the side of the Neos Argonauts as the cannon fodder who were proving to be annoying to the servants of Neos Argonauts fell down to their death rapidly. The beams of light even injured knights like Tristan, Agravain, and Lancelot, though the Gwain the darling of the sun remained unharmed. As for the Mordred belonging to the faction of Lion King was spared by Poseidon, as he well knew that Mordred wanted to kill her other self without any outside help.

(Author's Note: I will call Mordred on Lion King's side Mo-san or Guerillia Knight and Mordred on Mc's side as simply Mordred or Knight of Betrayal)

The two Mordred who were battling each other paused, the one gifted by Lion King started laughing," See that?! Father is mighty and he defeated your father! Now come and die my other self!", said the Guerilla Knight haughtily clearly liking the fact that the father who recognizes her killed the other who didn't recognized her. Mordred gritted her teeth and said," Why you!!".

Finally, she understood why other Knights didn't like her much, she is fricking annoying to deal with! She quickly shouted," Clarent Arthur!!!", and charged at her other self with the intent to kill her, Alas she was stronger than her being bestowed by a Gift that empowered her on the cost of harming herself. Thus she was put at a disadvantage against her other self.

The battle raged on, and the fight between the servants became more fierce with each passing second, finally the first real casualties of the battle were revealed who were none other than Tristan and Lancelot, the former died due to being overpowered by the two servants who were none other than Chiron and Medea and latter died against the battle of his son's vessel, Mash. The Lion King seeing her side losing despite her Knights being assisted by the remaining Enforcement Knights created by her, she decided to intervene.

It still had a 4.52-star review so I decided to pour myself into the huge list of reviews to find the reviews from readers who had read till the latest chapter, Well I didn't find them though I did find a lot of guys spamming reviews, 5-star reviews. I get why its review is so high now.

Again, it is still in the top 5 of the fan-fiction power ranking. Then it should have something good right? It's not as if a bunch of loyal fans had given him powerstones using several of their alternate accounts. Right?

P.S.: I definitely had no plans of roasting the Author, you all know that I am a straightforward guy, I would say If I were here to roast that guy, anyway I am serious, and want your opinion on whether I should waste my time on it, after all your sacrifice shouldn't be in vain.)
