-Godrick-
Returning to the Tohsaka estate, Godrick materialized in the living room where Rin and Archer were sitting, listening to a radio Rin had found in her father's study.
"Reports say they don't know how the building collapsed, but some eye witnesses said they saw two giant men fighting each other in the park around the time of the lightning strikes, which may lead to more questions than answers. Who are these men, and what kind of a threat do they pose?" The reporter on the radio said, before Rin switched it off and looked over to Godrick.
He dematerialized his armor, briefly showing the blood and cuts on his body before he forcefully healed them and sat at the table.
"Did you get your target?" Archer asked.
Godrick rolled his eyes and shook his head as he sat back in his chair, frustration written clearly on his face.
"You've certainly made things difficult for the church. They're going to have a hell of a time clearing all that up." Rin said getting up from the table.
"Anyway, we have a long day tomorrow. I need to get some sleep, I have school in the morning." She said walking over to the stairs.
"You're going to school tomorrow?" Archer asked uncertainty.
"Yes. Is that a problem?" She asked back sharply.
"No, but you could be attacked when you're there, which might cause a lot of deaths."
"That's the benefit of being in a public place, they won't attack in fear of the collateral damage." She said simply before waking up to her room. Godrick and Archer heard her door close before the two looked at each other.
"That's cold." Godrick signed before leaned back towards the table, resting his arms on it before fiddling with the radio.
"So, how do you know sign language? Did the Grail teach you?" Archer asked.
Godrick just shook his head, before standing up and walking over to one of the desks, grabbing a pen and paper.
Sitting back at the table, Godrick wrote about Fiore, and how she taught Jeanne and him how to communicate.
"Interesting." Archer said as he read what Godrick had written.
"Could you teach me?" Archer asked Godrick, to which he shrugged his shoulders and nodded.
-The Next Morning-
Rin heard a shout come from down stairs, so she quickly got up and put her slippers on and ran down the hallway before slipping and falling as she tried to stop at the stairs. She pulled herself from off the ground, rubbing her head as she quickly made her way down the stairs to see Archer standing next to the table, a chair knocked to the ground behind him.
He was pointing a finger at Godrick who was sitting at the table smashing his head against it before setting his head in his hands.
"I've already told you that I don't understand what you're doing, you need to dumb it down a little bit and go slower!" Archer shouted.
"I can teach you all you want, but I can't understand it for you, you idiot!" Godrick signed as he stood up from the table, his chair also clattering to the ground behind him as well.
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!" Archer shouted at the top of his lungs.
Godrick raised his right fist into the air to hit the servant, before Rin's sharp voice cut through the tension.
"What the hell is going on here!?" She shouted.
The two looked back to her, Godrick quickly lowering his fist as if he hadn't been about to punch Archer in the face.
"It was him!" Archer said, pointing a finger at Godrick.
Godrick turned sharply, raising his fist into the air once more before Rin's voice stopped him again.
"ENOUGH!" She screamed.
Godrick gestured to Archer as if to say it was his fault, but Rin wouldn't have any of it.
"You are both grown ass men, act like it!" She shouted, walking down to the living room.
"But-" Archer said before being cut off by Rin who raised her right hand to threaten him with a Command Seal.
Archer shut his mouth before clicking his tongue in annoyance, before turning away from Godrick, who gave him a mocking middle finger.
"You stop as well, or I'll kick you out." Rin threatened Godrick, holding up her Command Seals to show she would have Archer show him out.
He doubted the Archer could do anything to him, but she was threatening him with an inconvenience more than anything.
Godrick waved her off, letting her know he understood before sitting back at the table followed closely by Archer.
The two glared slightly at each other before Archer whispered softly.
"I'd wipe the floor with you."
Godricks eyes went wide as he looked back at Rin who was rubbing her eyes out of tiredness before turning back to the servant.
"Nah, I'd adapt." Godrick signed to him aggressively.
"I don't know what that means!" Archer hissed, as he made a poor mockery of Godrick's sign language.
A quick snap from Rin made the two glared at each other again before looking away.
The morning passed with Rin making herself breakfast, then walking back up to her room to change.
She came back down stairs dressed in her school uniform, then called someone on the phone in the hallway.
She told the man on the other end of the line that she would be participating in the War before telling him she had contracted with the Archer servant.
"Archer… alright. Do you know anything about what happened last night at all?" The man on the phone asked.
Godrick looked back at her from the table and shook his head.
"No, I don't know anything about it." She said in a tone that clearly told she was lying. Godrick slapped his forehead in exasperation, but did not get angry, knowing she had tried her best.
She quickly finished her conversation before slamming the phone on the receiver, then turned back to Godrick.
"I'm sorry…" She said in an awkward tone before walking towards the front door. Godrick stood up to follow after her, wanting to get out of the house and see if he could find anything on his target.
"Are you coming to the school with me?" She questioned up at him.
He had no better leads at the moment, so he felt he might as well walk around a bit, and being with Rin and Archer might attract another servant, which might be fortunate for him.
Walking from the estate, Godrick wore his normal linen shirt, jeans and boots. His left arm was covered down to the forearm, but he was sure that everyone would think that the blackened skin was a tattoo or something like that.
Honestly he didn't really care if people saw him or the other servants. He was of the opinion that the vast majority of people should know of what was happening. It had been that way when he was alive. So why not now?
Walking down the street, he and Rin got many strange looks from passersby. He didn't really care all that much, but Rin seemed to be embarrassed, as she started to walk faster than him, leaving him about ten steps behind her.
'Teenagers' Godrick thought as he rolled his eyes and continued walking.
Soon enough they reached the school. Rin entered, while Godrick walked on, drawing the eyes of all the students.
"That guy's freaking massive." one of them said to another.
"Why is his hand black? Is that maybe a new tattoo that's going around?"
Godrick ignored the babbling of the students before he stopped and looked in their direction.
'A bounded field?' He thought to himself, as he suddenly felt a magical barrier go up around the school. He continued to walk on, ignoring the field for now. He would take care of it in a little bit.
The day passed, and once everyone had left the school, Godrick found one of the nodes for the bounded field on one of the roofs of the school. Rin and Archer joined him, just as he began to examine the node.
He knelt down and was about to absorb the magic in the node before a voice spoke from the night air.
"I would rather you didn't touch that."
Godrick looked to his left to see a man in a blue skin tight suit with silver shoulder pauldrons and a large red crystal like spear on his shoulder.
"My master wouldn't be very happy."
Still looking at the servant, Godrick placed his left hand on the magical node and absorbed the magical energy in it, all while holding eye contact with the Lancer.
Lancer narrowed his eyes at Godrick, wondering who would deliberately challenge him like this.
"So it's gonna be like that hm?" Lancer said in an irritated voice before disappearing from his spot.
Godrick stood up, and reached out with his left hand, catching the spear bare handed that had appeared from nowhere that tried to stab him in the chest.
"What the fu-" Lancer said, before Godrick forced the shaft of the spear back into his face, snapping his head back before letting the spear go.
Lancer staggered backwards before regaining his balance and taking a stance.
Godrick looked disinterested, as this wasn't his target. He only destroyed the magical node for the energy, and to save the innocent lives of the students.
Rin had jumped over the fence by now, and was making her escape with Archer. Lancer seemed conflicted as to who to go after, but an order from his master sent him after Rin. Jumping past Godrick and over the fence, Lancer caught up to her in the blink of an eye before lunging with his spear. It was stopped by Archer, as a wide bladed short sword materialized in his right hand, leaving Rin and Lancer in wonderment.
Debating whether or not to stay with Archer and Rin for the moment, Godrick decided that it would be more beneficial for him to stay with the pair for now. He jumped from the building and landed next to Rin as Archer and Lancer began their battle.
Archer released an impressive amount of aura before suddenly disappearing. Lancers eyes went wide before he twirled his spear and blocked Archer's short sword before delivering a thrust of his own, which Archer blocked.
The battle went on for a few moments before Archer's sword broke, giving Lancer an opening that he took. Lunging, Lancer was surprised when Archer summoned two more short swords before thrusting forward with one, then swinging with the other. Lancer could only plant his feet to stop himself before blocking with his spear.
The force of the strikes were strong enough that it knocked Lancer back a few meters, before he finally came to a stop.
"What kind of bowman thinks he's a swordsman?" Lancer asked as he rushed forward. Archer met him head on, darting out with his short sword to catch the spear, only for it to break.
Blade after blade was summoned as Archer fought toe to toe with Lancer, catching every swing with one of his own until finally, the two clashed together for a final time, then broke apart.
"What, getting tired already?" Archer asked, summoning two more blades.
Lancer clicked his tongue before lowering his center of gravity, and red energy started to cover his long spear.
"Let's see how cocky you are after this!" He said, unleashing his full might as his aura grew in strength.
Godrick, who had been standing by Rin, suddenly materialized his armor, and walked forward.
Archer turned to look at Godrick as he passed him, but the Juggernaut made no explanation as he stood in front of Archer.
He wouldn't really interfere in fights unless he wanted to, and the thought of tasting another Noble Phantasm was indeed tantalizing.
Godrick motioned Lancer onward, wanting the energy he was outputting. Lancer was about to obliged, when suddenly he turned his head before disappearing.
Godrick looked to his left at the school, only to see a redheaded boy running away from the courtyard they were in.
"A student?" Rin shouted before running after the student.
"Archer, chase after Lancer!" She shouted to her servant.
Godrick sprinted after Lancer as well, smashing through one of the walls to catch up to the servant.
Reaching out, Godrick caught Lancer, but it was already too late as his spear darted out and pierced the boys back, causing him to gasp and fall to the ground.
Enraged at not being able to catch up in time, Godrick smashed the Lancer into the wall to the right, throwing the servant out into the open before tackling him once more through another building.
Lancer dug the butt end of his spear into the ground, letting the Juggernaut impale himself on the blade before the pair hit the ground.
The spear dug deeply into Godricks right shoulder, but it didn't stop him from lifting Lancer up, then batting him to the side through another building with a fist.
Godrick used his left hand to slap the spear from him, making it clatter to the ground before exiting the building through the hole Lancer had made.
Faster than lightning, Lancer reappeared with his spear in hand, and brought it down on Godrick, who raised his left arm to take the blow.
The ground shattered around the Juggernaut as the spear met his forearm. As fast as the Lancer had appeared, he disappeared again, only to reappear to Godrick right, sweeping at his feet.
Godrick raised his right foot, letting the spear travel under it harmlessly before backstepping to dodge Lancers back swing.
Lancer then swiped again at Godrick chest from the left, but the Juggernaut caught it with his left forearm before bringing his right forearm down on the spear, sending its point to the ground. Godrick then backhanded Lancer, but the servant dodged at the last second, leaning back to do so.
Godrick used his own speed to drive his left fist down into Lancers open chest, throwing him into the ground.
Lancer looked up from the ground in a rage before disappearing again, though this time, he did not reappear.
'Must have been teleported via Command Spell.' Godrick thought
