The Oval Office buzzed with tension. President Elizabeth Ross-Forbes stood with her advisors, each of them still reeling from the aftermath of Raiden's global display of dominance. The destruction of their military bases, the broadcast of his attack—it had shaken the foundation of the United States' government. Whispers filled the room as they debated what would come next, all eyes anxiously darting to the door.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Bruce Wayne walked in.
business mogul, philanthropist, and now, Gaia's envoy. He was dressed impeccably in a tailored dark suit, his presence commanding the room without the need for a mask. He strolled in with the ease of a man who owned the world, radiating an air of control that left everyone, including the president, silent.
"Mr. Wayne," President Ross-Forbes said, trying to maintain her composure, but the surprise in her voice was evident. "I wasn't expecting YOU."
Bruce gave a polite smile, moving closer with calculated steps, every movement deliberate. "Madam President," he began, his voice calm yet authoritative. "I'm here to deliver a message on behalf of Raiden."
The president's expression hardened, but she gestured for him to continue. "Go on."
"You've seen what Raiden can do," Bruce said, standing in the middle of the room, his hands resting comfortably in his pockets. "The military strikes today were a demonstration—a show of restraint, believe it or not. Raiden could have decimated your entire infrastructure, but he didn't. He's offering the United States a chance, one final opportunity to align with Gaia."
Ross-Forbes' face tightened. "Are you threatening us, Mr. Wayne?"
Bruce's eyes flickered with a cool intensity. "No, Madam President. If Raiden wanted to threaten you, this conversation wouldn't be happening. He doesn't see the United States as a threat. He's already focused on the real war—the one coming for all of us. But he's offering you a choice. Join Gaia, align with his vision for Earth's unity, or…" He paused, his tone never raising, but the weight of his words made the room feel smaller. "Or be swept aside..... You have one week."
The president's lips thinned, and she squared her shoulders. "And if we refuse?"
Bruce's eyes didn't waver. "Then Raiden will no longer have reason to be merciful. He's given you this week to decide. After that… well, I suggest you don't test him."
Without another word, Bruce adjusted his suit, a calm smile still playing on his lips as he turned and left the room, leaving a suffocating silence in his wake.
.....
The Kremlin was a fortress, a symbol of Russia's power and security. Inside the president's most protected room, Viktor Kovalev sat surrounded by the highest-ranking military officials. Layers of security, surveillance, and elite guards stood between him and the outside world. After Raiden's show of force, the Kremlin's defenses had been increased tenfold. But deep down, Kovalev knew—if Raiden wanted him dead, no amount of security would be enough.
And then, without a sound, she appeared.
The shadows in the corners of the room seemed to come alive, darkening and twisting as if bending to the will of something ancient. From the heart of those shadows, Scáthach emerged—silent as death, her crimson eyes glowing in the dim light. The moment she stepped into the room, the guards froze in place, paralyzed not only by fear, but by an aura of sheer dominance.
President Kovalev felt the blood drain from his face as she moved towards him, her steps as light as a predator stalking its prey. She hadn't needed to break through walls or bypass defenses...Scáthach had simply appeared in the most secure room in all of Russia.
Kovalev's heart hammered in his chest, but he forced himself to speak. "You... you are Gaia's assassin, here to coerce me into submission?"
Scáthach's lips barely twitched into a smile, her eyes cold as ice. "I am not here to coerce you. Raiden doesn't need to convince you of anything. If he wished it, you would be nothing more than a name in history. But he has spared you today, to offer you one last chance."
She stepped closer, her presence suffocating. "You've seen what Raiden can do, Viktor. He destroyed your military bases, eliminated spies from Apokolips in your ranks, and allowed you to live. But know this—Raiden is already focused on the true threat, and you are no longer relevant to him. Align with Gaia, or you will be dealt with, swiftly."
Kovalev clenched his fists, trying to summon his courage. "And if I refuse?"
Scáthach's smile vanished. "Then Raiden will erase you and your country from the map. You have one week."
With that, she stepped back into the shadows, and as quickly as she had appeared, she was gone....leaving nothing but the cold reality of Raiden's mercy hanging in the air.
...
In the heart of Beijing, deep within China's most secure military command center, General Minjun Song sat in a heavily guarded room, flanked by high-ranking officials. Every defense measure was in place.....elite guards, state-of-the-art surveillance, and the strongest of barriers. Yet, even in the midst of their heightened security, a sense of dread hung over the room.
Without warning, the air shimmered with a soft glow. White lilies and cherry blossoms materialized out of thin air, floating serenely around the room as though they had been summoned by an unseen hand. The flowers danced through the air, defying the harshness of the room's steel and concrete.
In their midst, Merlin appeared.
He stood calmly, staff in hand, his robes flowing elegantly as if he had just walked through a meadow. His eyes sparkled with mischief and wisdom as he regarded the astonished officials. The guards raised their weapons, but hesitated, spellbound by the magical display before them.
"Good evening, General Song," Merlin said cheerfully, as though he had just entered a garden party. "I do hope I'm not intruding."
The general stood, his jaw clenched in anger. "You've breached China's most secure facility… as if it were nothing."
Merlin's smile widened, but there was an edge to it. "Oh, it was nothing. Had Raiden wished it, your defenses would have crumbled long before I arrived. But we're not here for destruction, General. We're here to offer you a choice."
General Song's eyes narrowed. "A choice?"
Merlin waved his staff gently, and the flowers settled onto the floor like soft rain. "Raiden has already dealt with the spies from Apokolips within your ranks. He could have annihilated your military, but he spared you.....for now. Raiden is focused on a far greater threat. But your continued defiance is a distraction he won't tolerate much longer."
The general stepped forward, his fists clenched. "And what happens if we don't bow to your master?"
Merlin's expression softened, but his words cut like a blade. "Then Raiden will sweep China aside, just as easily as he did your military. You have one week to decide. Stand with Gaia, or face the consequences."
With a graceful bow, Merlin twirled his staff, and in a swirl of flowers and light, he vanished, leaving behind a room filled with the scent of blossoms and the weight of his message.
....
One Week Later
....
The sun hung high over the Hanging Gardens, casting a golden light on the lush greenery and vibrant flowers that adorned the historical site. This was a moment the world had awaited—a declaration that would solidify Raiden's power and status as the King of the World. Reporters from across the globe buzzed with excitement, their cameras poised to capture every second of this historic event.
The three most powerful leaders—President Elizabeth Ross-Forbes of the United States, General Minjun Song of China, and President Viktor Kovalev of Russia—stood in the grand hall leading to Raiden's throne, a symbol of authority and majesty. As they entered the ornate room, they were struck by the magnificence of their surroundings: towering columns of shimmering stone, intricate tapestries depicting Raiden's victories, and a massive throne that seemed to dominate the space.
Atop that throne sat Raiden, his regal presence impossible to ignore. Clad in ceremonial armor that gleamed under the light, he radiated power and authority. As the leaders approached, they felt the weight of his gaze upon them, a predatory calm that sent a ripple of unease through their ranks.
As they reached the foot of the throne, Raiden's voice cut through the air like a blade, cold and commanding. "Kneel."
The response was immediate and varied.
General Song, with a steely gaze, stepped forward defiantly. "China bows to no one!" he declared, his voice echoing off the walls.
Kovalev, with a dismissive wave of his hand, added, "I am not here to submit."
President Ross-Forbes, trying to maintain composure, stated firmly, "We are here to join hands, not to kneel, Raiden. You would do well to watch your tone."
As the cameras rolled and broadcasted their defiance around the world, the leaders attempted to put on a facade of strength, but Raiden was unyielding. He merely leaned back in his throne, relaxed yet intimidating, a predatory grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"KNEEL."
This time, an invisible force rippled through the room, a manifestation of Raiden's power that brought each leader to their knees, a wave of energy constricting their will. They protested, struggling against the force.
General Song shouted, his voice rising above the rest. "Raiden, you are finally showing your true face!"
"Indeed, you are a tyrant," Kovalev agreed, his brow furrowed with anger. "Power has gone to your head."
Elizabeth fought against the force holding her down, her voice filled with righteous indignation. "You are breaching our agreement! Forcing us to kneel is nothing more than a tyrannical move!"
Ignoring their outcries, Raiden stood from his throne, towering above them as they remained powerless at his feet. His voice boomed with authority. "Foolish leaders! What do you think I am? Who do you think chose me? Why am I on this throne and not you? Because I am the King! I am Eternal! I am the People!"
The tension in the air thickened as he continued, his words sharp and resonant. "I came from nothing, all the way to this throne. I lost my parents at ten, and I suffered at the hands of the world. I was lost in space. But one thing about me never changed: I am an advocate for a correct world!"
He stepped closer, his eyes ablaze with passion. "When I was granted power, I didn't monopolize it for myself. I used it to correct the world and help the people! I did not forget where I came from!"
Raiden's voice turned thunderous, reverberating in the hall as he declared, "When you kneel to me, you do not kneel to a tyrant. You kneel to the King of the World. You kneel to the people. You kneel to Gaia!"
The leaders looked up, their expressions shifting from defiance to shock, realizing the enormity of his declaration. Raiden's voice rang out with clarity, his message piercing through the shroud of resistance. "No more corruption! No more pain! No more suffering! No one will take advantage of the people! I am a King who truly deserves his position!"
As the last echoes of his words faded, a murmur began to spread throughout the room. The gathered officials, previously stunned, found themselves nodding, a wave of acceptance washing over them. Raiden's conviction was undeniable, and the reality of the situation began to sink in.
Then, outside the grand hall, the chants began, a chorus of voices rising from the crowds that had gathered to witness this historic moment. "King Raiden! King Raiden!" They echoed through the air, resonating in the hearts of the people, fueling the flames of revolution and unity.
Raiden stood tall, a fierce grin breaking across his face as the cheers grew louder. The world had witnessed the birth of a new era, and with it, the confirmation of his reign. King Raiden was not just a title; it was a promise—a promise of change, of unity, and a hope for a better world.
As the leaders remained kneeling, Raiden's voice rang out once more, filled with a mix of authority and compassion. "Welcome to a new world order. Welcome to Gaia."
