Chapter 1 - The Awakening

In a room full of medieval atmosphere there was an old French-like wardrobe a wooden bed, a bronze mirror and things that could be found in a nobles room in medieval times.

What seems to be a sleeping man suddenly wakes up.

"I'm still alive! I can't believe it"

A sudden gush of memory filled his head with chaos and pain, then he suddenly remembered everything before he died.

He was just a normal guy on Earth on his way to work when suddenly he heard a sharp scream of a woman begging for help.

As he heard the scream he suddenly has the urge to find out what is happening.

Then he comes to the source of the sound and stumbled upon a robbery.

There were two men cornering a young lady pointing at her with a knife and urging her to give them all her valuables.

As valiant as he was, he suddenly felt that it was his time to be a hero and save the day.

He kicked the first robber and then grabbed the knife of the other one then they clashed for the possesion of the knife for a couple of seconds and then

'Bang' 'Bang'

Lights are cut off he was shot by the other robber that he completely forgot about.

"Tsk, I was so naive. why did i even do that and why did I even forget the other guys"

After all that recollection he suddenly woke up from everything and observed his sorrounding.

Then another memory gushed in, this time from the body that he is currently in.

His name is Jack Leona, a second child of an Earl of the Kingdom of Maple. His status being the second child means that he is not eligible for the enheritance of his father the Earl of Suxxex, Earl Grey Leona.

That's why on his coming of age ceremony on his 18th birthday he was immediately kicked out of his family's abode and was provided a personal butler, A knight me and 20 normal soldiers. And most importantly a Territory and a noble title od his own.

Unfortunately for Jack when he was young he didn't have the talent to be a Knight, despite his Father's effort on cultivating him and giving him the best resources.

He was still unable to inspire his Power Seed. And thus he was givin up by his father and completely cutting of the chance of inheriting his father's Territory.

A Power Seed is the accumulation of a persons energy and strength on its body and compressing it until the Human body's innate power will be tapped in therefore completely awakening the body's power seed.

By awakening the body's power seed he will become a knight but first he must become a knight squire, completely forging the body to the limit before trying to break through and becoming a knight.

Knights symbolizes the top of Human Power and every kingdom in the World of Terra depends on knights as its weapon in dominating the battlefield.

If you become a Knight you will be as strong as an Ox or you will have an average strength of around one ton per Arm. And you will not have a problem facing a company of normal soldiers, except for another knight on the other side.

Knights also have a power system and that is Squire < Iron Knight < Bronze Knight < Gold Knight. and lastly the thing of legends that we always hear on pubs and inns spoken by bards and normal folks, The Sky Knight.

The Kingdom of Maple Currently has two Golden Knights standing and Serving on its Royal Family. The Protagonists Father himself is a Bronze Knight of the Medium Level.

And with that countless Human have dreams and Aspirations of being a knight and obtaining its glory and riches that it may come with.

But, in the end of the day it will still depend on 'Talent'.

In Jack's situation he was given a title of Baron and a barren frontier town on the northern most part of the kingdom.

He knows that he may have no future in there but Jack has no choice but to gamble and be prepared for what may come.

Then after receiving all the supplies and 1,000 gold coins that he needs for the journey he immediately set off with his entourage and a long travel to his very own territory.

On their way they encountered many things.

Refugees of war and famine looking all tattered and their eyes lacking hope of life.

but they can't be saved either as all they have is enough for themselves and they are on a continous journey.

Halfway through they suddenly encountered Bandits trying to rob them.

"Young master, a group of blind eyed bandits is blocking our way and demands to be given all of our valuables" - -

The butler said in a calm manner like it's a normal thing to happen.

Jack at the moment also is calm as he is complacent as he has a Iron Knight by his side.

"Tell Knight Bradley to kill the chickens on the way, they are an eyesore."

The butler immediately understood the assignment and bowed down to jack and relayed the message to Bradley then he immediately moved with a mocking gaze to the leader of the bandits.

After he got close to the bandits he immediately unsheathed his knife and swung his sword, thin a transparent wind like slash came out of his sword and in a flash the body of the leader of the bandits was sliced into two.

That was a signature move by becoming a Knight, the Energy Slash. By accumulating enough energy on the sword from the power seed you can slash out a powerful Energy Slash.

After seeing the decapitated body of their leader the other bandits immediately panicked and was about to turn away when Bradley quickly ended their lives.

Twenty bandits gone in a whim by just one person.

"Young master here are all the valuables that we can get from the bandits" --

The butler handed out 23 gold coins and a bunch of silver and copper coins.

Also a bunch of rusted sword and shield from the bandits that they may use on the territory and couple of food.

"Thank you for your hardwork" Jack expressed his Thanks to his Entourage and specially to Bradley.

"We must move on, We are now Completely close to Winter Town" said Jack after all the aftermath.
