For Now...

"We can talk about this, Chaoxiang."

The man was silent, stiff like a block of ice. With his eyes blank as the figures of their children were no longer before them, Cai Li looked at the bodyguard and commanded him.

"Leave me and my husband."

"Understood."

As the bodyguard gave his solid, loyal nod, he then walked away through the corridor, leaving the couple alone. The moment they were assured that they were alone, it was then that Chaoxiang looked vulnerable.

He started coughing profusely, his hand clutching on his chest as he fell on his knees. Cai Li, slightly worried, sighed as she knelt. She put her hand on her husband's back, patting it softly as if to console him.

"Why must you act such evilly before me and your children until your health takes a toll on you?"

"We..." Chaoxiang wheezed. "Don't have much time."
