A Terrifying Guess

Aria quietly looked at Will with curiosity. She saw him regularly practicing this set of exercises every day now, but each time a sense of wonder would flash through her eyes.

Every time Will performed the exercise, an illusion of the sun's rays concentrating towards his body would appear, and his body would have a faint glow of gold. For an instant, Aria could feel an incredible feeling of oppression when Will was glowing in that manner, reminding her of her teacher. However, that pressure would quickly disappear and then Will would bleed out the blood of a Primordial Demon. Aria even secretly tried to mimic the exercise when Will was resting, but it had no effect at all!

"Will, are you perhaps related to demons?" Aria asked. "Why would you bleed out the blood of a primordial demon, no less?"

Will had a bitter look on his face. "I honestly don't know. I didn't even know that it was the blood of a demon. My guess is I was probably poisoned." Will said. However, in his mind, his conjectures were much wilder than what he was willing to say.

"The red demon crystals contain the genes of demons, which can parasite the life wheel and incubate themselves in it, to be reborn. Considering that this blood is actually seeping out of the melted Life Wheel, could it perhaps, have something to do with the life wheel? Is the life wheel of a human inextricably linked with demons?" Will's thoughts were chaotic, and he was hesitant to believe them, because the implications threatened to upend his understanding of everything.

"More than ever, I must eliminate this hidden threat and remove all the demon blood within my body." Will thought.

At this moment he remembered a few lines from the gigantic tablet on which was inscribed the clean body exercises in the cuneiformic script of the sumerian civilization.

"The human body contains impurities. Your birth, your existence and your death, all three stages of life have one inevitability - the pollution of the body. Dedicate yourself to the Sun, clean your body and your spirit will also be purified." Will recited within his heart from the image that was burned into his mind.

"The clean body exercises are a method to remove the impurities and pollution within the body. Demon blood is a form of pollution that seems to exist within my body. Could it also be the case that every human has the blood of demons fused into their life wheel?" Will wondered in confusion amd a slight bit of fear.

If that was truly the case, then this would be a gigantic conspiracy. Will could only calm himself by telling himself that his line of thinking was incorrect.

After some thought, Will took out some tissues and wiped himself dry. This was a barren and dry area and there was no water around, so he could only make do with this solution.

Aria saw this and shook her head. Her hand began glowing with the aura of aquamarine light, before a gentle even temperature breeze full of water vapor brushed past Will, taking away the grime sticking to Will's skin.

Will raised an eye in surprise. Aria proudly smiled. "This is a secret application of my Life Wheel's innate attribute. I have a water attribute life wheel." Aria said with smugness.

"Why didn't you use it in the fight against Jin Sola?" Will asked while frowning. Aria snorted. "I do not have any attacking ability using the attribute yet."

Will sighed and nodded. "Either way that will be useful ahead. If I'm not wrong, the only water in this dead zone is the superheated steam gushing from the stones exploding."

After a good rest, the two began rushing ahead again. Will was reluctant to use the rabbit form movement, but he had no choice but to gamble. With his usual body speed, he would burn to death from the steam erupting from the stones exploding beneath his feet.

Far away, from the edge of the forest, an extremely beautiful looking woman with blue hair stepped out into this dead zone. She was no longer naked, instead the water and ice threaded together to form an intricately patterned robe that covered her body. The woman slowly began walking on the exploding stones, following the trail of exploding geysers left behind by Will and Aria.

The woman's feet gently landed on a heavily cracked rock, that was sure to explode, however, it showed no signs of movement. Without a care in the world, the woman began calmly walking forward. Not a single explosion could be heard, as her silent steps allowed her to calmly traverse through the area. She was like the air, gently moving ahead like a calm spring breeze at the sea side

Will looked at his digital map and frowned. "If we go straight ahead, we will be heading towards the center of the dead zone. The center is in a terrifying magnetic vortex and any electromagnetic objects like consoles stop working in the region."

"What is your plan?" Aria asked, since she didn't understand why he came through to the Exploding Crust dead zone, when he wanted to go to the Fiery Canyon Dead Zone.

"I am simply stalling for time right now. I just need some more days before the I can completely expel the blood of the primordial demon and then I will be free of this sickness." Will said.

"So the demon blood is actually related to your illness?" Aria asked.

"I'm not too sure about the matter. But as I expel more the blood, my body is returning to normalcy." Will said. Obviously he hid the fact that the reason he was healing was because he was essentially discarding the life wheel, melting it and absorbing its contents into the body, getting rid of its fragility which was its most extreme flaw. However, he found the narrative of the demon blood causing his illness a convenient narrative
