017. Raiding For Revenge.

It was a bright morning and a big day for Aril, because today, he was going to kill someone.

Aril walked out of his bedroom and suddenly bumped into Putri. The two stared at each other for a few moments before Putri averted her gaze.

"I'm going to the kitchen to get a thermos of water," said Putri who hurried towards the kitchen.

Aril wanted to respond but he was worried that the girl would mention last night's incident in the bathroom.

The young man pretended not to see her reaction and walked straight out of the house.

In front of the house, Ignoir was sparring with Reizel whose right hand had grown back.

Aril was shocked for a few moments and then realized that the wavy-haired man's mutant system was of the reptilian type.

The young man decided to watch from afar.

He sat on the long bench on the terrace as he watched intently.

Although the two people were sparring, it was hard to say if they were both on the same level to spar fairly.

Reizel repeatedly threw punches and kicks with all his might while the wolf girl only parried all the attacks with one hand.

After a while, Reizel was out of breath and lay on the ground and panting.

"Are you done?" asked Ignoir who smiled haughtily.

"I give up," replied Reizel quickly.

Putri come out of the house carrying a thermos of water and two glasses.

The girl walked over to Reizel and Ignoir and handed them a thermos of water and 2 glasses.

"Thank you," said Reizel who was still lying down and trying to catch his breath.

"Miss Putri is indeed very considerate!" shouted Ignoir who immediately hugged Putri.

Putri could only chuckle when facing the wolf girl's behavior.

Aril walked over to the three people. "Alright, the plan is simple. I'll find that bald bastard and kill him, Reizel will lead us to their base, and Ignoir..."

Ignoir immediately stood up straight, both her ears and tail standing at attention.

"Your task is to fight the lowrank enemy," Aril said.

"Yes, Master!" responded Ignoir swiftly.

"But your first priority is to protect Putri. If you're given a tough choice, prioritize saving her," Aril continued to explain.

"Yes, Master!"

"Eh? Am I coming too?" asked a slightly surprised Putri.

"Of course you will," replied Aril.

"Eh? But it's dangerous there. There must be a lot of strong people," protested a slightly sullen Putri.

"It's even more dangerous if you stay here," Aril replied.

"But it's safer if I stay here."

"Actually, I agree with Aril. It's safer if you come with us," said Reizel who suddenly entered the discussion.

"Eh?! Why?" asked Putri who couldn't digest the two men's intentions.

"If you stay here, no one will be able to ensure your safety. But if you come with us, there are at least 3 people who can take care of you," replied Reizel.

"But still..." complained Putri who still couldn't accept Aril's decision.

Aril immediately held both of Putri's hands and looked the girl right in the eyes. "I failed to protect Aunt Salma because of my inability to make difficult decisions. This time I will protect you."

As Aril spoke, Putri could only imagine the events in the bathroom last night. The girl's face immediately turned red and she immediately turned around.

"All... All right..." said Putri.

'I can't see his face!' Putri shouted in her mind.

Aril looked at Ignoir. "I'm counting on you."

"Yes, Master!" said Ignoir.

"So, your plan is to break in from the front?" Reizel asked Aril.

"Sometimes a simple plan is the best plan," Aril replied.

"I guess there's some truth to that," replied Reizel.

Aril slightly narrowed his eyes as he looked at Reizel. "You don't look worried. Do you realize that we're about to invade your group?"

"Former group," Reizel replied casually. "I'm not that altruistic with them anyway. Our group relationship is more like gang of anarchy than an organization."

"That's good if that's the case. It would be bad if -"

"...If I give you a reason to kill me. Right?"

Aril sighed. "Something like that."

Aril walked towards the house. "We'll be leaving two hours from now. We'd better get ready."

---------------------------------------------

2 hours after preparation.

Everyone gathered in front of the house.

"How are we going to leave?" asked Reizel who looked around and realized that there was not a single vehicle that could be used.

Aril looked at Ignoir. No voice, no words, no orders. Aril just stared at the wolf girl and Ignoir immediately understood her task.

Ignoir slowly changed the shape of her body which originally looked like a human into a four-legged monster.

Ignoir's body enlarged and expanded. Black fur grew rapidly. The shape of his face also slowly changed into the structure of a wolf's face.

A pair of wings sprouted from her back and her four legs were instantly enveloped in fiery red flames.

Aril smiled with satisfaction then nodded once. He looked at Putri and Reizel who were frozen in place with their mouths wide open.

It seemed like the two of them had forgotten that Ignoir was actually a giant demon wolf.

Ignoir folded her four legs so that the three people could climb on her back easily.

Aril and Reizel jumped with all their might and were landed on Ignoir's back while Putri could only climb like a normal person.

"This isn't fair! Your jumps are too high!" shouted a sullen-looking Putri.

After a while, she finally got on top of the giant wolf's back.

"Hold on tight," said Aril who was sitting on Ignoir's head.

Reizel and Putri grasped the wolf's black fur tightly.

"Time to go," said Aril.

"Yes, Master!" replied Ignoir.

"The wolf speaks!" shouted Reizel and Putri simultaneously.

Aril looked at the two people while raising one of his eyebrows. "Seriously?"

"Sorry, I'm still not used to all this demon stuff," said Reizel.

"I'm surprised too. Hehe..." said Putri while chuckling.

"Master, should I run to the destination?" asked Ignoir.

"Use the fastest method. I don't want to waste time," replied Aril.

"Very well, Master," said Ignoir who immediately raised his two black wings.

"Wait a minute... Don't tell me..." said Reizel who looked worried.

Ignoir flapped her wings with all her might and her body was instantly lifted into the air.

The immense air pressure forced Reizel and Putri to lie on the giant wolf's back.

Both of them spontaneously screamed.

After reaching a height of 500 meters, Ignoir immediately flapped his wings with full force once again.

The giant wolf flew at high speed. Reizel and Putri could only grip the black fur of the wolf.

Putri looked like she wanted to cry.

"I hate flying animals!" Reizel shouted.
