I'll prepare breakfast

As xue lin descended the staircase, she was greeted by the butler and she greeted him back as her face shone with happiness, seeing that their mistress's face was radiant and beaming with excitement he could only deduce that something good has happened.

"Miss, the maids brewed this tea for you" The butler said as he handed over the tray of tea to her which xue lin accepted happily.

The smell of flowers wafted in her nose as she opened the cover, it really had a nice scent that xue lin thought that it would be as good as it smells.

"What tea is this?" She inquired while taking small sips from it.

"Chamomile" the butler replied and xue lin nodded but then she asked again.

"Has it finished, could you keep some for Aaron?" She inquired but the butler was quick to shook his head, his boss never liked anything like this, even if he was sick he would refuse to drink anything greenish like this.

"Yes ma'am" the butler replied as he hastily walked away from there so that xue lin wouldn't ask another question. After she finished drinking her tea, she felt her appetite hightened because of the beverage she just took.

She looked around trying to look for something she could do, xue lin wasn't a lazy type, she was the type that loves working and that was because in her past life, she was bombarded with different works and that work was what she was thankful of for her uncle and aunt because they didn't spoil her.

She went around trying to render her assistance but the maids politely declined, they couldn't imagine the horrific expression their boss would have on his face when he finds his wife working...

So she went to the kitchen and thus persuaded the maids that she would like to cook breakfast for her and Aaron. "I'll prepare the breakfast" she had told them and they couldn't do anything to stop her since her mind was determined to do it.

Although, they were skeptical at first to let her into the kitchen, it was because they couldn't believe and would find it hard to believe that someone as rich as her could cook, shouldn't the maids be doing that.

Xue lin was in full control of the equipments in the kitchen, she carefully diced the carrots and shredded the cabbage like a pro, the maids thought that she was some unknown chef. Soon the scent of a delicious dish wafted in the air, the whole house was filled with the aroma of the food.

"Aye, what's this smell, who's cooking?" Gu Chen asked Da huang who was taking care of the dog, it was because gu Chen was feeling bored with his friends so he decided to go meet Da huang who could liven up his day.

"It's the miss I guess, the maids aren't in the kitchen" Da huang replied and Gu Chen's eyebrows creased as he found it hard to believe but then his curious self got the better of him and he sneaked into the house to confirm it. He had to rub his eyes when he saw xue lin in the kitchen, she wore a pink apron that had kitty designed all over it, her hair had now been tied in two pig tails, she looked so cute as a speck of flour was seen on her cheek.

As xue lin was carrying the hot water in her hand, she stepped on the oil that has stained the floor earlier, she didn't notice it so she stepped on it and was about to slip when Gu Chen suddenly came to her rescue, he had suspected that something bad would happen so he immediately came to help the miss. His arms circled around her waist to prevent her from falling and in the end, she ended up throwing the hot water away.

"Be careful miss, you'll hurt yourself" Gu Chen said as he hesitantly wiped the flour off her cheek. They were still in that ackward position where Gu Chen had his arms circled around xue Lin's waist, however they didn't realize the deadly glare that was thrown to them by someone who stood a metre away from them.

Aaron walked down the staircase when he perceived the aroma that was wafting in the air and then he made his way to the kitchen where he saw his cute wife preparing food, he even took a picture of her as he found her cute at that very moment.

However he was busy with the message that was sent to his phone that he didn't notice that xue lin was about to fall, before she fell he saw someone jumped out like a ninja in an attempt to save her which made his eyebrows crease.

He saw Gu Chen wrap his arm around his wife and his face immediately turned unbelievably sour, he felt bitter seeing his cute xue lin in another man's arm, his eyes slightly widen when he saw Gu Chen wipe her cheek. He felt like killing the damn Gu Chen, how dare he touch his wife's soft and cute cheek when he himself hadn't!!!.

"Gu Chen!!" Aaron called, his voice was cold and his expression was very deadly, the bright room turned dark because of the deadly aura clouding the room, Gu Chen and xue lin immidiately turned to look at the man. He looked so terrifying that Gu Chen had to jump away from xue lin and hide in the curtains to save himself.

'Stupid, you are stupid xue lin how could you let him catch you in that position?' Xue lin asked herself as she gazed at Aaron whose aura hadn't dissipate, she was so petrified by his expression that she subconsciously flinched and took a step backwards when she saw him coming nearer which of course didn't escape his eyes and he looked more furious than before, she did something wrong and was now afraid of him?.

Xue lin was scared, yes she was scared, the last thing on her list of being his wife was to press his button, she didn't want him to get mad at her at all and now that he was mad, what should she do, why isn't the operation running away working, her legs felt rooted to the ground!

"G-G-ood morning darling, how was your night?" Xue lin asked as she greeted him, the man didn't respond and he kept walltzing towards her until he had her back hit against the wall and his hand at the sides of her body.

"What were you doing with Gu Chen?" He asked her menacingly that she had to gulp, her throat tightened and she didn't even know what to say to defend herself...
