Apology

"Why are you looking at me that way?" Aria questioned as soon as she caught Noah sneaking a glance at her again. She had lost count of the times Noah had looked at her since they had left their apartment.

While Ivy and Joshua had taken their car, with Ian following them, Aria and her father had accompanied Noah and Ronnie as they returned to Noah's mansion.

However, on the way, Noah kept sneaking glances at her, much to her surprise and she had no idea why. Unable to tolerate her curiosity, she fired the question at him when she caught him again and noticed the man's flustered face as he fidgeted in his place.

Noah glanced at his father-in-law, whose eyes were focused outside the window. But he knew that his ears were on them. So, he had to be careful when he spoke to Aria lest he irked her father.

"Nothing, Aria. I was just thinking."
