Back home again

Seeing the change on his facial expression Emily noticed that something was wrong, with every passing second Leon's face turn paler as he listen to the phone and after what seem like forever he hung up the phone.

seeing that Emily went close to her husband and touched his pale face before asking.

" What happened is everything okay?" She asked in worry looking at Leon who had his head down he didn't want to see him like that

But this time he didn't pretend to be fine instead he chose to embrace her quietly resting his head on her shoulder not saying anything for sometime and Emily was very patient with him her hands moved to rub his back as a form of comfort.

" Hey tell me what's wrong?"she asked patting his head gently.

Hearing her words of concern Leon decided to tell her the truth.

" It my grandmother she is.. she is really sick my father just called me he said she is in the hospital right now and she might need to undergo surgery .. but she is too old what..what if her body can't take it.. what if something happens to her" Leon said he seem very worried one could tell that he truly love his grandmother a lot he now seem very vulnerable after hearing the news that Emily felt bad for him.

" It okay everything is going to be fine nothing bad is going to happen to her okay... besides grandma is a very strong woman and the doctors will find the best way to treat her, right now let's just hope for the best" Emilia said thoughtful as she continued rubbing his back to coax him.

Hearing her words Leon turn to look at her as if she was the savior of his lost mind, one could see he was really afraid Emily touched his sad face tenderly only if she could take away his sorrow she thought as she looked at his blue eyes that seem sad.

" Emilia! I ..I . don't want to lose her too.." Leon voiced out his worry before he allow her to hug him again

"my grandmother is the only person who truly loved me in the family, she had been everything to me after my dead mother.. I don't know what I will do if anything happens to her" Leon said still nuzzling on her shoulder. Emily patiently listen to him while occasionally patting his head and comfort him

After a long coaxing Leon finally regain his composure knowing that grandma Brown was in bad state they made a decision to go back home to country G, Emily knew Leon would not be at easy until he sees grandma Brown so they had to go back

After almost four months they finally got back home in country G, Emilia explained to her department about her need to leave while Leonard had already arranged his business to country G the last time he went there, he had long wished to live in his home country so he had established his business in country G even before he forced to return to his family the last time.

After landing in country G they asked the for the address of the hospital she was admitted to, only to be told to go back home first, Leon was surprised but also worried did something happen to his grandmother? why home and not hospital.

Leonard was very angry this time he had been so worried about his grandmother how could they make such joke? his eyes turn red in anger.

" Can someone please explain to me what is going on here?" he asked coldly looking at everyone who for some reasons stopped doing what they were doing.

Sensing his anger and his groomy face grandma Brown called for him Leon reluctantly went close to her, he was worried about her why did they choose to make such a joke?.

" My dear are you angry with me?.. this old woman just missed you a lot okay, please don't blame your father l'm the one who told him to call you and tell you that...I know you did say you have a lot of things to do and would refuse to see me ..and don't dare deny that" grandma Brown said while holding his hand on hers gently

Leon looked at his grandmother clearly upset he squat down kneeling before her resting his hands that was still on hers on her thighs as she was sitting on a chair before complaining, his eyes lingering with tears

" But grandma why would you make such a joke do you have any idea how much worried I was about you?" Leonard looked at her sadly with his eyes eyes almost shedding tears as he continued touching her whinkled old hands affectionately.

" Please grandma promise me that you are never going to make such a joke like that again" said Leon with worried expression firmly staring at her guilty eyes.

" Yes grandma please don't make such joke we were real worried about you this time" Emilia said then went close to her making the old woman happy, she took her hand too basking with happiness

Emily was a very emotional person as a doctor she was always concerned about people's health especially her family and people close to her

ever since her mother died she decided to study medical field and become a good doctor so she could help the people she care about.

" Oh! you two are so sweet now I don't regret calling you back like that" grandma Brown said grinning happily making the couple speechless

" Grandma!!!.." they both said in disbelief after hearing her words

" Alright.. alright I get it from now on I will never make such joke again but you two need to promise me something" she said looking at them seriously

" You must live here with me for a month only then I will be at peace again" grandma Brown said and did not seem up to discussion.

After hesitantly agreeing to her condition the celebration continued and everyone went to welcome them happily the happiest one was of course father Smith.

Emily already knew that her father was really fond of Leon but still couldn't believe when he went to hug Leon completely forgetting about her existence

As the celebration continued Leon looked around only to notice Richard was sitting obediently on a coach like a lost puppy he wondered what happened to him? why was he acting like a good boy when he was the contrast of it, what he didn't know was that something really bad had happened to the man enough to tame him.
