"That was a close call," Evelyn said when they were far away from the house. Even though they had left early in the morning. By the time they had reached her parent's place, it was afternoon.
"It's good that uncle had sensed the presence of someone approaching or else we would have been in great trouble," Elric said as he walked ahead of her, leading the path as it was nighttime.
"Indeed," she said, nodding at him.
"I suggest we shouldn't come here anymore," he murmured.
She frowned at him and replied, "Why? We both are safe now."
"Can't tell you about the future, Eve. You don't know when danger can encounter you."
"As I said, there is nothing to worry about when you are here to protect me," she said confidently.
