There’s nothing I can do other than pray now.

"*Sigh* I think this would be okay." You look at the report you prepared before looking at the time.

*Gasp*

"I have only two minutes. Run!!" Clasping the file near your chest, you dash off as if your life depended on it.

Running forward, staring at the CEO's office door, you mutter "*Huff* I should get this done anyhow."

*Slam*

"*Huff Huff* I did it!!" You slam open the door and enter inside the CEO's office.

One hand with the file and one hand in your hip, you try to steady your breathing.

As you expected, Sir Lee was gazing at you with horrified eyes.  'Sir must be very surprised I did it on time. Don't worry, Sir. I will make you proud.' You flash him a reassuring smile.

Lee Hyun was indeed stunned that his fresh new junior who just came in today, was able to finish such an advanced task, however, that was not the reason he was horrified, the timing was so wrong. 

He could feel the temperature in the room gets chilly. He hastily ran to you.

"Miss Bae, Give me the file, I will pass it to Boss. You can leave right now, I will be back shortly." Lee Hyun said, trying to ease the environment.

"O-Okay, But Can't I stay here? I need to know if there is anything wrong with the report or not if there is a need for any improvement. Sir, Can't I? It's my first official task as an employee here." You genuinely wanted to know, so that you can finish off and gladly leave early without any guilt of cheating in the work.

"T-This.." How could Lee Hyun say no to something like that? 'Miss Bae, Please you need to read the room.' He hoped that you would not linger around when Jin was in a bad mood, especially when you wanted an early leave.

"Bring the file here." 

Just then, Jin's deep voice rang throughout the silent office.

"Yeah, Boss." Lee Hyun was about to take the file from you when Jin voiced again "Not you."

Lee Hyun flinched. 'There's nothing I can do other than pray now.'

He sighed "Miss Bae, Boss wants you to go submit the file to him. *Whisper* Please, Don't say anything."

You start walking towards the CEO desk, pondering about the mouthed words of Lee Hyun. 'What did he mean by 'don't say anything'?'

"Big Boss, here." You place the file on his desk and patiently wait for him to take a look.

He didn't open it right away, he was still typing something on the laptop. 

*Fidget* 

You fidget your fingers, staring at him working. 'Will he kick me out if I ask him to take a look at the report first? Probably..Ugh, I hate waiting the most.'

After a few minutes, Jin finally closed his laptop and took the file.

*Badum Badum*

'Woah, It has been a while since I felt this nervous. It's like giving an exam, well, this gives me more anxiety. Please, Say everything is okay so that I can leave early.'

You silently cross your fingers, as you stand there, watching your boss go through the first official report you made on your first day at work. 

You follow Jin's eye movement. 'He is reading so fast. Huh? He is frowning. Did I make a mistake somewhere?'

You couldn't help but clench your fist, seeing Jin frown all of a sudden.

After a moment, he stopped and said "Secretary Lee, I guess You have a lot of time to spare." 

Frightened, Lee Hyun apologized and left the office at once.

"You come over here." 

*Badum Badum*

You quickly go over beside Jin, afraid he will scold you if you delay things.

"Do you wear glasses?"

You were stunned by his abrupt question. You still reply promptly "Y-Yeah, Why do you ask, Boss?"

"You wore it while making this report?" 

"No, I left it at home." You frown. 'Why is he even asking me such a question?'

"No wonder there are many errors in the report."

*Stab*

'Ow, That weirdly hurt me. Who even makes such a dumb remark? I mean how are the errors and my glasses related? I wear the minimum power one, is he thinking I can't see without glasses?'

Pushing the urge to curse him, You ask him "May I ask, where the error lies?"

"Here, there is 'a' missing."

*Stab*

"And here..there is double spacing."

*Stab*

 "There should be 'the' not 'a'"

*Stab*

"As for here, Don't write terms that are too difficult to understand."

*Stab*

Unable to hold anymore, You avert your eyes from the report and hang your face low.

'I thought I made hella a lot of big mistakes, to think he made fun of me just for these 'a' 'the' parts. Is he always like this? Sir Lee did mention that if there is even a single mistake in the report, he makes you write a hundred times. If the deadline wasn't that short, I would've gotten more time to review it. Guess I will break the promise with Aunty.'

"Why is she taking so long?" 

Lee Hyun paced here and there, unable to stay still, worried about Y/N.

*Knock Knock*

"Oh, You are here, Y/N. What did he say?" You see Lee Hyun rushing towards you as soon as you step inside the office.

"H-He said there are many errors in the report." Your answer.

"Really? *Sigh* Y/N, Remember this, You tried your best, the time was short, Don't blame yourself at all. You did an awesome job even though you are still in the beginner phase. You will learn everything slowly with time. Don't take his words by heart, okay?"

Lee Hyun voiced the words he rehearsed since he came back. He kind of predicated the outcome, he had to make sure to comfort his junior at best.

Realizing how sweet your boss was, You feel gratitude whelping in your heart for him. You smile and nod your head "Thank you, Sir, for teaching me, helping me and reassuring me. You are the best."

Gazing at you being cheerful, Lee Hyun ultimately loosened up "I am glad you are okay, For a moment I thought, you were done for."

"Huh? Why?"

He quickly shakes his head frantically "N-Nothing. Oh, By the way, Let's finish up the report again. He must've told you to do it again numerous times. Let me help you."

"Sir."

Lee: "No, It's fine this time. We will share the work. It must be tough for you, so much burden on the first day."

"Sir but-"

Lee: "No buts. Don't worry, I know you are worried he may find out, but he won't. You can trust me for that. Okay, What are you waiting for? Let's finish this up so that you can go home on time. You don't have.."

You scratch your head, before mumbling "But I was about to head home right now."

"To thank me-...What? What did you say?"

You add, tilting your head "Big Boss, let me head home early."
