Preparing for the Festival

Keeping quiet, Nelphy started to ponder something. But now wasn't the time to ask or share that thought aloud.

"Well, I'll be off. And we'll be taking these. They're too good to deny," Gina laughed lightly while accepting the tray of rolls and sandwiches. "Baston, you should really try one."

"Thank you, Mistress Gina, but I should be leaving. I have other matters to attend to."

The elder quickly excused himself, leaving the other instructors behind, apart from those closest to him who followed without a word.

Smiling, Gina then handed out sweets and sandwiches to the instructors that stayed behind. "Really, you should all try these! Oh, right, I forgot to sign up."

While the instructors enjoyed the food without Elder Baston around, Gina was the next to sign the petition. After her, a handful of the other instructors did the same while thanking Nelphy for the good food, also wishing Nelphy good luck in convincing Baston and the elders to budge.
